Casablanca - Marrakech – Aguerssiwal – Ikkis - Aremd

Casablanca - Begin the journey with a pick-up from your accommodation in Casablanca and head towards Marrakech via the highway.

Marrakech - Travel from Marrakech to the Atlas Mountains.

Atlas Mountains - Proceed to Aguerssival village (1,600m), the starting point for the adventure. Ascend the Tizi n’Aguersssiaval pass on a narrow yet comfortable path (2,000m). From the pass, enjoy the first view of the stunning Imnan Valley. Small terraced farms slope down to the Assif n’Imnane River and the quaint Berber village of Ikkiss (1,800m) between the junipers. Continue upstream along the river to Tinerhourhine. Enjoy a light snack (fruit, dates, nuts, cakes) before the climb to Tizi n’Tamatert (2,280m).

Imlil - Take in the view of Imnane and Imlil Valley from there. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the pass (salad, tajin, fruit, bread, tea). After lunch, follow the shaded trail through the pine grove to Imlil.

Aroumd - An easy path leads from Imlil to Aremd (1,945m), the last village on the way to Toubkal and the overnight stop. Stay at a comfortable and cozy mountain guesthouse in double rooms. The bathroom and toilets are shared, but they are clean and European-style. Dinner will be served at the guesthouse.

Aremd – Sidi Chamharouch – Refuge Toubkal

Aroumd - Begin the challenging ascent through the Mizane Ati Valley to the pastoral holy site of Sidi Chamharouch (2,350m), a popular destination for Moroccan pilgrims, starting at 9 a.m. Enjoy a picnic lunch there or later, depending on your schedule.

Atlas Mountains - After the shrine, the path gradually ascends the winding road to the Toubkal Refuge (3,206m). Accommodation is shared with other hikers. The Refuge’s facilities are quite basic. Dinner is served at the Refuge camp.

Refuge Toubkal – Jebel Toubkal – Refuge Toubkal – Imlil – Marrakech - Casablanca

Toubkal - Breakfast is served around 5 a.m., and the hike to the mountain begins early (4,167 m). The route follows the southern circuit, crossing the stream above the refuge. The trek is straightforward, but due to the altitude, progress may be slower than usual. After about 3.5 hours, the summit is reached. With the sunrise, the views along the way are stunning, and at the summit, breathtaking vistas in every direction unfold.

Atlas Mountains - After savoring this incredible moment, return to Refuge Toubkal for lunch.

Imlil - Continue on the route to Imlil as done the previous day.

Marrakech - Return to Marrakech via private car and then to Casablanca.

Casablanca - Conclude the Toubkal trekking tour with a drop-off at your hotel in Casablanca, or any preferred location (airport).
