Wonderful tour of special areas outside of Lisbon city center - Our tour was wonderful. Our guide, Elisabete, was extremely knowledgeable and experienced as a tour guide. We had a very personalized tour of the Pena Palace and the other areas, as well. I would recommend Elisabete to others, without hesitation.

Wonderful private tour of Sintra - Our experience visiting Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, and Quinta da Regaleira was the highlight of our trip and my parents & in-laws are still raving about it weeks later. We wanted a tour that mixed historical knowledge with the freedom to do our own thing and explore, which is exactly what we got. Elisabete is a Sintra native and actually used to work at Quinta da Regaleira so that, combined with her decades of tourism experience made her the perfect guide. We also got plenty of time to explore independently and had about 1.5 hours for lunch in downtown Sintra. This is truly all inclusive too - we got picked up and dropped off at our apartment and didn't have to worry about parking, driving, tickets, entrance times, etc - Elisabete handled it all and that allowed us to just enjoy and soak in the experience. If you are looking for a stress-free and knowledgeable private tour of Sintra, I could not recommend Elisabete and Top Ten Tours more!

Wonderful and Memorable Tour of Sintra - Our family of 6 travelled to Sintra with Alex and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Alex is a wonderful guide--total professional, entertaining and extremely knowledgeable. He is intimately familiar with all the sites and knows all the "ins" and "outs". A true insider. His van was clean and comfortable and he delivered on all that he promised and more. He loves Sintra and Portugal and we had a wonderful and memorable day with Alex.

Amazing tour and guide. - We've been traveling for 20+ years throughout Europe, Asia and South America. The Sintra, Pena Palace and Cascais tour with Alex was one of the best we've taken. Alex was prompt, pleasant, welcoming and funny. His knowledge base was incredible. I don't think it could be duplicated. Transport was via a very comfortable Mercedes Van. Each member of my group (4 well traveled adults) loved this tour, and Alex. We will travel with him again.

The only way to Sintra! - My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip with our host Alex! He picked us up at our hotel and provided us with important historical information on the drive to the Palace of Pena. It was ideal to have Alex give us a personal tour of the the Pena Palace, Cascais, and Cabo Da Roca since he grew up and lives in Sintra. He shared his favorite pastry shops that serve Pastel de Nata as well as a couple of restaurant dinner recommendations in Lisbon. We had an incredible lunch in Cascais, but you will have to take the tour and maybe Alex will share his restaurant recommendation. It was so relaxing not to take a train, bus, or drive a car to Sintra. We highly recommend Top Ten Tours - money well spent!

Best way to see so much in a day - Alex and Elizabeth went above and beyond to make sure we got to see everything and had the best experience. Definitely a great value for as much as we saw, and they picked us up from the airport. Highly recommend!

Top Ten Tours - is an A+ Experience - We spent all day with Elizabete seeing all the sites in Sintra. She was fantastic. We also used her company for some other transfer needs during our stay. The day we spent in Sintra was one of the highlights of our trip - in large part due to Elizabete. Professional, friendly, and interesting, we felt like we were hanging out with a good friend who just happened to know everything about where we were. She also has some serious car maneuvering talent. When we go back to Portugal, I'll be contacting her for our transfer and tour needs. Best way to see Sintra - Amazing full day adventure with Elizabeta. She picked us up at our Airbnb and spent the entire day learning and seeing the history of this region. Elizabeta’s vast knowledge of this area gave a inside view of so much more than we were expecting. Especially at the Pina Palace. We also had fun exploring the towns of Caicais and Sinatra. We highly recommend this tour!

Sophie & George from Georgia - Me and my husband George, were the first customers from Georgia to Alex, and I hope that we are the unforgettable ones, because the tour with him for was unforgettable in every way!!! We took tour to Cabo de Roca(the furthest western point of Europe), Cascais and then Sintra Palace. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life!!! It was raining whole day, but Alex made sure in every way possible that we were comfortable and he succeeded in that, rain did not bother us even for one bit, thanks to Alex. His storytelling skills are mind-blowing! We liked his tour so much that after a week, we wanted to travel with him more and luckily he was free, and we booked a tour with Alex in Nazare, which was also unforgettable memory. The coast, ocean, dinner with Alex, everything in total was the BEST. We are in love with Portugal and we will definitely be back for more, we are extremely happy that we know who to go to to explore more, in the most qualified way!!!! 100% recommended!!!!

Amazing full-day private tour with Alex - My family and I were paired with Alex for a full-day private tour of Pena Palace, Sintra, Cascais, and Cape Roca. (Elizabeth confirmed the details of the trip the day prior to pickup via WhatsApp, which was very well received. I appreciated reminders and confirmations :)) Alex was prompt in picking us up from our hotel in his spacious van where he had bottled water and a warm welcome waiting for us. He is great about reading the room and will accommodate the tour, speed, and information to fit the group's needs. Alex is a great conversationalist, so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable - there was not a question we asked that he could not answer. I have no doubt that had we not taken this tour with Alex, our trip to these sites would have been lackluster. We really had such a great time and were so impressed with the level of detail and care that was used to curate this trip. I have already recommended TopTen to other friends who plan to visit Portugal in the future, and I hope to use them again myself on future visits!
