Awesome historical tour of Lisboa! - Carlos was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable of Lisbon and the history.

Superb!! - Every aspect of the tour with Nuno was absolute perfection. Nuno was informative, fun, and kind. The whole day in Sintra, Cascais, and Pena Palace was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lisbon and Portugal.

Fantastic - Our guide, Carlos was fantastic. He provided facts along the way about the history of Portugal. He showcased a few sights in Lisbon while allowing a few minutes for pictures and time to reflect on the area. We had plenty of time in Cascais to explore the town. The stop for lunch had exceptional food and a beautiful view. The Pena Palace is amazing and everyone should take the inside tour. The town of Sintra is cute and has nice shops. We had a lovely day.

An excellent tour and tour guide. - Nuno was our tour guide who was so knowledgeable and so very good to go out of his way to ensure our day was perfect. I would highly recommend him and his company.

A Great Way to See Lisbon - The thing that amazed me most about Nuno Caniços, owner and operator of Mon Ami Tours, is his contagious enthusiasm. Though he repeatedly goes to the same places, he knows his clients are seeing it for the first time and he wants you to have the same love for his country that he does. We wound up booking 2 tours with him. He was introduced to us by our hotel and we liked him so much that we booked a second trip. Our private tours were all to targeted destinations, but just getting there with Nuno is informative as he weaves a fascinating tale while we drive - all the stops along the way you didn't even know to ask about: Cristiano Ronaldo's € 35 million house, the women of 7 skirts where we bought fresh roasted chestnuts and peanuts, a 2K section of Lisbon streets lined with phenomenal graffiti and street art creations, the beaches of Nazare Portugal, their monster waves and the museum that tells their story, the hotel where a James Bond movie was filmed and the museum to honor 007. There were churches and castles and monastaries. And that doesn't even include his asides - his favorite restaurant, his favorite ice cream parlor, his favorite cafe. Nuno has a lot of favorite things. And then there are the views. My goodness, he showed us amazing views. He is perfectly conversant in English and a couple other languages as well. He seems to know everybody and his engaging, friendly personality, seemed to open doors that others couldn't. And while his wife handles the bookings and Nuno is one of the guides, he also has other guides working for him with other specialties: there is the food tour, there is the tour of the inner city on little tuk tuks, (sort of a golf cart on steroids). and there are walking tours. We had an amazing time in Portugal and Mon AmiTours is one of the main reasons why.

Ocean and cities and castles and Mario! - Mario is an amazing guide! He provided us with loads of information about different locations as we left Lisbon and continued to do so throughout the entire day. He was very happy to answer any questions we had and we feel we got to know him well. He added such a lot of personality to the trip that it's almost more entertaining than the locations we saw! One of the best things he provided was recommendations and options. He always let us know what to expect and gave us options to make sure our time was spent wisely. As for time, he was great with the schedule. He timed things well between and during stops allowing us enough time to take in the scenery and history. Even as awestruck as we were with all that we saw, Mario was the star of the day!

Gorgeous day in Sintra - What a beautiful day visiting Sintra and Cascais! Carlos was a wealth of knowledge, he is a local & was on point with planning and personalizing the itinerary for me. I had the whole van for just myself 😊 We took all day, and covered so much. All admission fees were included, and he took care of all the reservations. Lunch at the restaurant was amazing, could eat there every day. Thank you so much for an unforgettable experience!

A great day with Mario - We had a great day with Mario on our tour. Mario had so much knowledge to share and to show us. Plus, we were able to see some places(Fortaleza do Guincho hotel) that we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to see. Our lunch at Nortada was wonderful, too. We were able to be dropped off and picked up at anytime making access to things effortless.
