Hike, Find, Eat - 30-45 minute hike, some in the woods, some on rocky trails, some up hill. Difficulty scale from 1- 5, this is a 2. EXCELLENT truffle finding adventure, Aika (sweet dog), was very well trained and found 4 truffles on our trip, dug from under the vines and near the root system of Chestnut and small Oak trees. Michael(a) was a terrific and knowledgeable guide. Lunch was Spectacular with our own shaved truffles from our find.

Tartufo! - This was the highlight of our time in Italy so far and I can’t recommend this highly enough. Michele (with Aika) delivered an amazing experience. We really enjoyed learning more about truffles, where they come from and the different varieties. Aika is such a pro and it was fun watching her track down several truffles. The countryside is just beautiful and so peaceful to wander around.
Our lunch was just right. How could any food be lacking once it has fresh truffles on it! And getting to visit a small restaurant outside of the city boundary is something we wouldn’t have done under our own steam, so was extra enjoyable.
Thanks again! This was a terrific morning.

It was such a unique and... - It was such a unique and informative addition to my trip to Verona! Not only did I learn all about Truffle hunting , I got to see the breathtaking landscape outside of the city and learn so many other things about the region. It was truly special. If you think it sounds interesting, book it ! It is worth it !

Highly recommend to anyone who loves the outdoors & truffles - Beautiful experience! Must do when visiting Verona.. such a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. From finding the truffles, to eating them garnished on the freshly made pasta the experience is unforgettable.

A Must Do! - My family of 4 ppl had an unbelievable truffle hunting experience with Michael & his Dog partner. Michael is patience, professional, and knowledgeable. The dog is well trained and wowed us. The hiking trails are breezy and beautiful. We were hunting amongst fruit trees, Grape vines and the view of Verona. Top off with a pasta & truffle dinner, wine, appetizers ... A must do!

Once in a lifetime! Must do! - Simply spectacular! We joined Michael and Aika for a brief hike in the woods where Aika was wildly successful finding truffles. The views were incredible. We then went to dinner wherein the truffle found during our hike was used for our meal. One of the best meals we’ve ever had!!! An experience not to be missed!

- Our experience of truffle hunting in the forest with our guide, Michael, and his dog Ika, was an unforgettable experience! It was just 30 minutes from Verona, but it felt like such an adventure. We learned a lot about the art of truffle hunting, Italy's countryside and lovely cuisine and culture from our knowledgeable guide. Seeing the dog do its magic was so much fun. After frolicking around the forest with the two experts, we were treated to a delicious dinner at a restaurant that served a 3-course meal, all with the very truffles we had just hunted!
When I think back on my trip, this experience stands out as such a highlight. If you love cooking, travel, nature, dogs, or even just exploring unique things to do on your trip, this should definitely make it to the top of your itinerary. Thank you, Michael and Ika!

Highly recommend! - Such a fun experience!! He was so kind and knowledgeable about truffle hunting, the forest, the various plants we’d come across. His truffle dog, Aika was so sweet and he loved finding truffles. The love and connection between the guide and dog was really special. The views on the hike were incredible and food prepared with our freshly caught truffles was equally amazing. I absolutely recommend this unique experience

Experience to repeat - Unique and extraordinary experience.
The dog Aika was great.
Dinner at the restaurant is delicious.
We look forward to returning next winter for the white truffle.
