• Cat Ba Town - 8:00 AM: The bus and tour guide will collect guests from their hotel in Cat Ba Town to commence the journey to Cat Ba National Park.
• Cat Ba National Park - Recognized as a World Heritage Site and biosphere reserve in northern Vietnam, Cat Ba National Park awaits. Upon arrival, the tour guide will assist with entrance tickets, and the hike will begin at the park’s entry. Along the way, three peaks—Ang Vat, May Bau, and Ang Phay—offer opportunities for brief 5-10 minute breaks to capture photos and enjoy the diverse viewpoints. The trek to Frog Pond takes approximately 2.5 hours, providing chances for bird watching and sightseeing in the primary forest. Frog Pond, the largest freshwater lake on Cat Ba Island, features unique Va Nuoc trees growing in the water, exclusive to this area. The pond is surrounded by about 400 islands and 130 small golden sand beaches, creating a stunning natural landscape along the trans-forest route from the park center to Viet Hai Village.
• Viet Hai Village - After a 30-minute rest, the journey continues to Viet Hai Village, approximately 4 km away. The path becomes easier, with mostly downhill and flat terrain. Upon arrival, visitors will meet the welcoming locals residing within the National Park. A delightful lunch featuring home-cooked dishes will be served at a local house. Post-lunch, guests can cycle through the ancient village, home to nearly 100 houses, and enjoy a fish massage in a cool stream or local fish pond. The cycling route from Viet Hai Village to Viet Hai Harbor spans 5 km and is renowned for its beauty.
• Lan Ha Bay - The boat will pause at a floating house, offering a glimpse into the local life on Lan Ha Bay’s waters. Guests can kayak and explore Lan Ha Bay, celebrated as one of the world’s most beautiful bays. On the return journey to Cat Ba Town, the boat will visit Cai Beo Floating Village, Vietnam’s oldest floating village, featuring hundreds of houses on the water.
• Cat Ba Town - 5:00 PM: Arrival at Ben Beo Harbor, followed by a car ride back to the hotel in Cat Ba Town. Trip concludes!
