• Cat Ba Town - The bus and tour guide will collect guests from their hotel in Cat Ba town to begin the journey to Cat Ba National Park.
• Cat Ba National Park - Recognized as a World Heritage Site and biosphere reserve in northern Vietnam, Cat Ba National Park awaits. Upon arrival, the tour guide will assist with entrance tickets, and the hike will commence from the park’s entry. Along the way, three peaks—Ang Vat, May Bau, and Ang Phay—offer perfect spots for a brief 5-10 minute pause to capture photos and enjoy the diverse views. The trek to Frog Pond takes approximately 2.5 hours, providing opportunities for bird watching and sightseeing in the pristine forest. At Frog Pond, the largest freshwater lake on Cat Ba Island, visitors will see the unique Va Nuoc trees growing in the water, exclusive to this area. Frog Pond is also renowned for its 400 islands and 130 small golden sand beaches, creating a stunning natural landscape along the trans-forest route from the park center to Viet Hai village.
• Viet Hai Village - After a 30-minute rest, the journey continues to Viet Hai village, approximately 4 km further. The path becomes easier, mostly downhill and flat. Upon arrival, guests will meet the welcoming locals residing within the National Park. A delightful lunch featuring home-cooked dishes will be served at a local house. Post-lunch, guests can cycle to explore the ancient village with nearly 100 houses, enjoy a fish massage in a cool stream or local fish pond. The cycling route from Viet Hai Village to Viet Hai harbor spans 5 km and is considered the most scenic.
• Lan Ha Bay - The boat will pause at a floating house, offering a glimpse into the local life on Lan Ha Bay’s waters. Guests can kayak and explore Lan Ha Bay, celebrated as one of the world’s most beautiful bays. On the return journey to Cat Ba town, the boat will visit Cai Beo Floating Village, Vietnam’s oldest floating village, featuring hundreds of waterborne houses.
