The sinking of the two craters formed a caldera 1 kilometer deep and 5 kilometers wide.

From there, you’ll journey up to 2000 meters above sea level to reach the Silvestri Craters, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Etna and the city of Catania. After learning fascinating details about previous eruptions, you’ll head down to Zafferana Etnea to embark on your wine experience.

Upon arrival at the beekeeping site, you’ll have the chance to sample some of Etna’s typical flavors and products, including olive oil, wines, olives, and honey.
