• Mount Etna - We will reach 2.000 meters where we then take a walk together to visit the “Silvestri” craters and the latest new lava flows and craters from 2001/2003. On the way, we visit a local family farm where it is possible to taste local Etna wine, a selection of different types of honey (orange, lemon, eucalyptus, strawberry…), almond pastries, olives, extra virgin olive oil.
• Taormina - We get to the highlights of Taormina. Not to miss is a visit to the Greek Theatre, a stroll to the mean street “Corso Umberto” with several art and designers shops, Baroque churches and Palazzi. You can have an excellent meal at one of the local Sicilian places pointed out by your expert driver.

We will commence our journey from the waterfront of your port, before setting off to conquer Europe’s loftiest and most active volcano. As we ascend, you’ll notice diverse plant life. Our climb takes us to an altitude of 2,000 meters, from where we will stroll together to view the ‘Silvestri’ craters and recently formed lava flows and craters from 2001/2003. Along the way, we’ll stop off at a family-run local farm for some tastings of authentic Etna wine, different types of honey (like orange, lemon, eucalyptus, strawberry…), almond sweets, olives and extra virgin olive oil. As we descend the mountain, passing through a beautiful pine forest, we’ll reach the prominent sights of Taormina. Highlights include the Greek Theatre, a leisurely wander down the main drag ‘Corso Umberto’ teeming with art and designer boutiques, Baroque-filled churches and palaces. Our knowledgeable driver will recommend local Sicilian food joints for an unforgettable dining experience.
