Stefano's fantastic sunset hike on the volcano - If you're staying in Sicily for just a week, this half-day hiking adventure to Etna is perfect. Stefano was a brilliant guide with a fantastic knowledge of the volcano, its geology, eruptions and craters, as well as the local flora and fauna. The landscape is incredible, and to see the changing colours in the rocks as the sun went down was unforgettable. With just three in the group, we had a really personal tour that was fun and unforgettable. As this trip was in the afternoon, it wasn't possible to take the cable car to the summit crater, but as I have a fear of heights, that wasn't a problem!

Pepe took us on a nice... - Pepe took us on a nice adventure. We had a great experience on the hike with volcano views. We had a nice tasting experience and cave walk.

Fantastic eve! - What a wonderful tour! Alessandro was a wealth of information. He was really passionate and knowledgeable and loved teaching us all about the volcano. The tasting was also really nice! It was a fantastic experience.

Excellent sunset etna tour. - We booked through viator. The experience was fantastic. Our guide Tamasso was very knowledgeable. We went into a cave . He was patient and helped me get in and out of the cave as a slight climb down. After we went for honey, olive oil and snack tasting. We then strolled up to see two craters. It was not a race and you could go at your own pace. It was cold up etna so recommend wearing a fleece or jacket. We were picked up and dropped back to our hotel in Taomina. A great and fun experience. Would not suit everyone's mobility as the climb was quite steep but overall a great afternoon.

Sunset on Mt. Etna is awesome! - Tommaso was a great guide! Knowledgeable, funny and a wonderful attitude. We had a super time from the caves, hiking and sampling wine/honey, plus a beautiful sunset with friendly tourists.

Great Sunset Tour of Mount Etna - Our tour guide was Francesco who was very knowledgeable. On the drive up we stopped to taste some wines and honeys, the Walnut Honey was scrummy. Then we headed up to watch the sun set. There is a toilet stop at the bottom before you start walking up. There is a couple of steep slopes to climb but well worth the climb. It gets quite windy at the top and chilly compared to in the towns, so definitely worth taking a fleece/wind proof jacket. And trainers are a must to give some grip but they will get covered in black dust. In the drive back down we stopped at a larva cave which was very interesting, your given hard hats because there is a couple of low points.Maximum of 8 on the tour made it more pleasant. Also we were picked up from a meeting point a few minutes up the road from our hotel.

Giuseppe’s Mt Etna Experience - Had an amazing tour of Mt Etna. Our guide Giuseppe was patient and extremely knowledgeable about Mt Etna and Sicily in general. He took the time to answer all of our questions and went out of his way to make the trip unforgettable for the entire group.

Enjoyable but went slightly off track! - The review was good, we got to hike on the volcano which was really cool. The landscape is so different to what you'd normally experience! Unfortunately we went a bit off track and didn't get to see everything. It was still good though. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and the lava caves were really interesting!
