Very interesting great tour of underground Catania - We met our guide Matilde in front of the church and she showed us around the amazing church and the baths underneath it. She was very knowledgable and then took us to other hidden places around Catania that had been affected by eruptions of Etna in history. Very interesting tour and highly recommend.

- Catania in November was excellent. Not to hot, but still around 25 degrees. We could still swim in the sea. It had a vibrant atmosphere, it was very bizzy at nighttime with people strolling, eating icecreams, etc. We had a great time. Very good food and not expensive. Nice Airbbnb's.

Great Tour and Guide - This tour exceeded our expectations. We learned so much about the history of Sicily and Mt Aetna. Mathilde answered all of our questions. The places we saw were so interesting and unusual. I highly recommend it. Especially if you don’t have the time or energy to go up to volcano. You won’t feel like you missed so much.

Intriguing! - What a fascinating tour. Just to know that below the city is so much history! Our guide was a little under the weather, but she hung in there and gave us a fantastic tour! If you are into history - definitely check it out!

Informative tour! - Matilde is as a good guide. She shared interesting historical facts about the city. The last stop of the tour was a pleasant surprise. The local refreshing drink was also included in the tour. Very thoughtful of Matilde. However, the name of the tour is a bit misleading. I booked the tour based on my experience in Naples, where I visited an underground city, but Catania turned out to be a different place in those terms. I personally found the price on a higher side.

Not authentic - Catania for me was nice but not authentic Italian. In the old town I actually felt like I was in India or Pakistan. Most shops are owned and ran by Indian or Pakistan culture. I wanted to see Catania Italy but I saw nothing of the sort. It was a bit dirty and unwelcoming. Where were te Italians, I saw very few. I'm not racist mutilated Siciliana not India.
