Catembe is situated on the southwestern side of Maputo Bay, close to the Estuário do Espírito Santo, where the Tembe, Mbuluzi, Matola, and Infulene rivers meet. Participants will discover the origins of the Tembe Family, after whom the town is named, in honor of Chief Tembe.
