What participants will do during the activity:

1. Theoretical session:
   Participants will start with a concise yet thorough introduction to diving techniques and equipment, including the mask, fins, regulator, and buoyancy control device (BCD). They will also learn hand signals for underwater communication and essential safety guidelines.
2. Practice in confined waters:
   Participants will dive into a calm and protected pool or bay to get accustomed to the basics of underwater breathing. With the instructor’s support, they will quickly build confidence by mastering buoyancy control and performing simple safety exercises, such as retrieving the regulator and clearing the mask.
3. Open water diving:
   Once ready, participants will experience the excitement of a real guided dive in the sea, reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters. Under the careful supervision of the instructor, they will explore the captivating underwater world, discovering marine flora and fauna in a natural and immersive setting.
