Guided tour of Caceres in English - We were able to book a tour in English with Javier, who was an excellent guide and who was responsive quickly on email. The tour is a perfect introduction to Caceres, including lots of unique facts that only a local would know. Thanks to the Christmas season, Javier was able to incorporate several places that are usually closed, giving us an extra "behind the scenes" glimpse of the town. A must-do if you don't speak Spanish (as Caceres is mostly geared towards local tourists).

Highly recommended - Very entertaining, the guide very enjoyable and controlling history, anecdotes and a little everything. More than 2 hours (we made the full visit, Jewish included) that were spent without realizing. Super recommended.

Plaza de San Mateo - It is a medieval-style square located in the monumental city of Caceres which has served as a setting in the Game of Thrones series. It houses the church that gives it its name, being one of the four oldest temples in the city. In front of the church is the Casa Solar de los Ulloa which is one of the most important houses in the old quarter.
