- Teatro Romano - The Roman Theatre of Cádiz is an ancient structure located in Cádiz, Andalusia, in southern Spain. The remains, only partially excavated, were discovered in 1980. Likely constructed during the 1st century BC, it was one of the largest theatres ever built in the Roman Empire. It was abandoned in the 4th century, and in the 13th century, a fortress was erected on its ruins by order of King Alfonso X of Castile.
- Castillo de San Sebastian - According to classical tradition, the Phoenician temple of Moloch/Kronos was situated on this island in ancient times.
On this small island stands the Castle of San Sebastián, named after a chapel built in 1457 by the crew of a Venetian ship. They received permission to stop here to recover from the plague that had afflicted them. The Venetians used the remains of an old lighthouse to construct this temple, which was replaced in 1613 by a watchtower. This served as a guide for sailors and had defensive functions. The lighthouse was rebuilt in the 18th century and replaced by the current structure in 1908.
This castle is connected by a bridge in the middle of the ocean, offering a delightful walk and the chance to enjoy the waves.
- La Caleta - The guide will accompany visitors along La Caleta Beach, with its golden sands and calm waters. La Caleta is a peaceful oasis nestled between historic landmarks in Cadiz.
- Castillo de Santa Catalina - The castle is a significant example of military architecture from the Modern Age and has remained largely unchanged. It features a star-shaped plan with two distinct fronts: one with triangular bastions resting on the beach and the other open towards the city, where the only gate is located, protected by two bastions and a ditch that regulated the water level through locks. An access bridge leads to the simple gate, protected by an upper guardhouse, under which is a plaque commemorating the completion of the works during the reign of Philip II.
- Park Genoves - Park Genoves is a botanical park situated next to the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Cadiz. The local guide will showcase the garden, which contains over 60 types of plants from around the world, and will also explain the park’s history.
- Alameda Apodaca - This avenue is located on the wall near the bay and has been one of the city’s busiest places since the 17th century. It has undergone several renovations throughout history, but the one that gave it its current appearance was completed in 1926.
It follows the eclectic taste of regionalism and highlights the distribution of a varied succession of rooms, decorated with Sevillian ceramics and wrought iron elements, allowing enjoyment of the sea view.
- Monumento a la Constitucion de 1812 - The Monument to the Constitution of 1812 is a monument in Cádiz, Spain, commemorating the centennial of the signing of the Constitution of 1812. Commissioned in 1912 and completed in 1929, it is located in the center of the Plaza de España in Cádiz.
- Murallas de San Carlos - The walls of San Carlos are situated by the sea, next to Plaza España, in the old town of Cadiz. Their construction was completed in 1784 by the military engineer Antonio Hurtado. This bastion could house 90 artillery pieces and contained 55 vaults for various uses. Some of these vaults were equipped with wells to store snow brought from the mountains of Cadiz.
- Plaza de San Juan de Dios - The tour will return to the meeting point, followed by lunch at one of the most authentic restaurants in Cadiz. A full tasting menu will be served, catering to preferences such as vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, and gluten-free dishes. This tour is also ideal for travelers with food allergies, as various typical dishes exclude allergens.
