Dinner in the Madonie mountains - Fantastic, fun evening. Food was excellent and the cooking demonstration was great. Pepe the bus driver was a character and the musician who played during the night was an absolute star

Great tour to get from a stay at Cefalu to see mountains and local cuisine - We had a great tour. The tour guide and driver were welcoming from the start .We learnt a lot about the mountain area and enjoyed beautiful scenery in the comfort of the coach as it drove to the villages.The home cooked food for dinner was very tasty and more dishes produced than we expected! I am not a vegetarian but if you are ,make it clear to the tour guide and they will ensure something to suit you is prepared as we saw for someone who doesn’t eat meat. The local red wine jugs were refilled regularly and the music and singing by local musician brought good entertainment . Bring another layer to wear if you feel chill when you get to the mountain as it is cooler for the walk but it is not that cold to need jacket ! All in all good value

Magical Madonie Mountain Dinner - This tour was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. Roberta and Mimmo, our guide and driver, were absolutely wonderful. The dinner, dancing and music was so joyful, and our hosts were delightful. Such a special and memorable experience!

Magical dinner in the mountains - My husband and I, went on this during our holiday stay in Sicily. Our guide was Roberta, Roberta was brilliant, the best guide we ever had, she gave her authentic self to the whole 5 hours, we truly were immersed in the history and experience of the trip.
The food in the evening was fantastic, lots of it with wine served by the jug full. A magical evening had by all, Rosa is a brilliant host.
We highly recommend this trip. Roberta is an asset to the agency. We hope to see her again one day.

Authentic Sicilian Experience with an excellent guide! - Roberta, our guide, was knowledgeable, a local, and loved by all who greeted her. She took us to her home village of Castelverde and walked us through the ancient streets, explaining village life as we walked.
Next, we went to La Posada for a cooking lesson then to the restaurant for dinner. As we exited the bus, the vibrant accordian player and guitarist welcomed us along with the owners. The treated us to antipasti, primi, secondi, and dolce. All was delicious. In between courses, we danced to the authentic Sicilian music. Our dancing moved outside for a traditional circle dance that was great fun.

As previously related - As the other reviewers say this is a fantastic experience which will bring a smile to your face and fill your belly at the same time. Roberta is a diamond, there’s nothing she doesn’t know about Sicily, speaks perfect English too. I thoroughly recommend this excursion.

Almost 5* - High up in the mountains, amazing views. Cooking demonstration and a wonderful meal. Singing and dancing too.
Would’ve given 5* but the host kept giving carafe after carafe of wine to a young woman in our group, who became so incapacitated that she was ill on the bus back and the tour guide had to call for an ambulance. She could not speak or stand.

Best Italy tour we’ve taken! - Roberta, our guide, was wonderful! Charming, knowledgeable, friendly, humorous, and witty! The experience in San Mauro Castellaverde, her village, was wonderful! We enjoyed the walking tour and stops at local shops for samples and purchases if we wanted. The town was the friendliest we’ve yet encountered in all of Sicily. The dinner experience was wonderful; we had great conversation with our fellow guest at large tables and enjoyed great wine and a home-cooked meal. The band and dancing were a real treat. This is smalltown Sicily at its best!

Trip cancelled with no explanation (though got refunded quickly) - Looking forward to this trip, however it was cancelled the day before with not even an email or message to explain why. On a positive note the refund was processed quickly.
