Loved our experience. ... - Loved our experience. Such great food and learned so much about Puliga and their food traditions. It was a experience that lasted 4 + hours and included a property tour. Loved meeting people from other countries and our host facilitated getting to know one another. Worth every penny.

Pasta class - This class was amazing! My husband and I had such a good time. Simona is a genuinely passionate person who taught us a lot about not only how to cook pasta, but the history of Puglian cuisine. We had a wonderful meal and met amazing people. We highly recommend this class!

Fun pasta making in an authentic country Trullo. - We had a wonderful day with Simona, Anna Maria and a great group of other travellers. Simona was very warm, friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about local cuisine and the variations among the different regions. The pasta making was great fun, but quite a workout for the hands and arms😊Though we made mostly Orecchiette, we tried our hands at several other types with the aid of an umbrella spoke😊We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch with local bread, our pasta, vegetables from Simona’s garden and wine from her grapes in the garden of her Trullo home. An excellent experience and well worth doing.

Highly recommended cooking experience - Experiencing orecchiette making with Simona, Annamaria and the class (10 of us in total) in an old Puglian trullo was simply amazing! We learned to make traditional Puglian pasta in different shapes and styles of cooking- and how they’re different from other regions in Italy. Simona & Annamaria were generous to share with us their homemade wines, self pressed olive oils, sundried tomatoes, figs, almonds, self made chilli sauce, pickled shallots etc. The class lasted for about 6 hours, everyone seemed to enjoy the experience! Highly recommended!

Authentic cooking experience - Visited at the end of May with 8 adults, 6 under 30 years old. Simona is a natural hostess and conducted the cooking class in her backyard and in her kitchen. She spent a lot of time talking about the history of pasta in the different regions and it was particularly interesting to find out why each type of pasta is only eaten with a specific sauce. We made three types of sauces which were all very simple but in the end turned out to be completely delicious. She does have gluten-free options, but, as a cautionary note, they will not be as tasty as the non-gluten-free options. Much fun was had trying to make the orecchette shapes , which looked easy when demonstrated but was much harder when we tried it ourselves. Dinner was eating in the house and Simona gave us a tour of her trulli and the history behind the structure. All in all, we spent close to 4 1/2 hours at her home and finished off the evening with dried figs from her garden. This is an authentic cooking experience and you will not be disappointed.

Educational, traditional and tasty but missing a bit of light hearted fun - Simona was a warm, hospitable host who welcomed us into her home. It’s an amazing experience being within the Trulli and it was a pleasant environment. Personally, we think that the experience was a bit too long but we cannot fault Simone as she did state it would be 4-5 hours, but for those looking for a less serious, fun class with drinks, this is probably not for you. It was very educational and thorough, but this took some of the magic of being at a pasta class on your holiday where you are relaxing! The food is traditional to the area, some of it was delicious but definitely not for everyone so don’t expect pasta pesto! You don’t cook the sauces which was a shame, one person will go up and chop an onion and the other stir it - but you do have the chance to actually make the pasta. The seating needs to be addressed for this long class, seats with back rests need to be for all guests as it’s a long time to go without and some of our party were very sore by the end (albeit we are all over 30!). Personally, we’d love for the wine to be flowing a bit earlier but appreciate it’s not the Italian way perhaps? Some background music might have filled the awkward silence between guests too. In summary, this is perfect for pasta purists who want a very educational and specific run through of the local area, but perhaps not for those who wanted a bit of fun and make pasta. Thank you Simona, you are very passionate about the local area and this does shine through, but it just wasn’t the experience for our family.

Making pasta - We had a nice experience making the pasta. The only thing that was negative is the grounds are not kept up. Everything can use a good cleaning up. Also there was no signage into the place we didn’t know if we were going to the right place.

Did not meet our expectations, with the rave reviews we expected something different. Especially for this money ......../ - Fantastic hostess with lovely stories about the pasta and trullo, but price quality was not proportionate. Nice group and lots of laughter.
