On our 6-hour tour, we will tour the most significant spots in downtown BH, some of which date back to the 1930s. Bars, restaurants, cafes, an artisan bakery, and the Central Market, ranked third best globally and showcasing a slice of every region of Minas Gerais, are among our destinations. We will traverse around 4 km across the city center on foot, with 5- to 10-minute walks between each site. As we wind our way through the paved city streets, we’ll relish the ambiance of downtown BH, surrounded by period buildings, many in the Art-Deco style. All this while taking a plunge into the city’s founding history, back to its humble beginnings as the Arraial do Curral del Rei, the city’s former name.
