• Réserve Naturelle de Gorilles de Lesio-Louna-Léfini - The Lesio-Louna Gorilla Sanctuary is a haven for great apes, conveniently located near Brazzaville, the capital city. It offers a unique opportunity to observe gorillas without the need to travel far to national parks where they roam freely in the wild.

The sanctuary’s mission is to care for orphaned gorillas until they reach maturity and can be released back into their natural habitat.

During their acclimatization period on the island, the gorillas are fed twice daily by the reserve’s eco-guards. This is the time when visitors can observe these magnificent creatures.

Itinerary

• Gorilla Trip
  • After breakfast, depart early in the morning. Transportation will be provided from your residence to the Lesio Luna Reserve, where ABIO will facilitate an encounter with a solitary male gorilla.
  • You will be taken as close as safely possible to the gorillas without any risk.
  • After visiting all the groups of silverback gorillas, including the orphan gorillas, departure will be arranged.
  • Following the gorilla visit and the natural beauty, preparations will be made for the return to Brazzaville.
