Amazing Tour - On our way to the ruins our guide Gino gave us some history on Costa Maya which was very interesting. Once at the ruins Gino walked us around and shared a lot of interesting facts about the ruins, he was very knowledgable, approachable and kind. Our driver, Daniel had cold water available throughout the tour which was appreciated as it was a very hot day. We booked this tour because of the smaller size which were prefer to the large bus tours. The ruins are about an hours drive away but the drive goes by very quickly. We were awed at the history and size of the ruins.

Amazing ruins and our guide was just as amazing - Raphael was mine and my son’s personal guide and he was just amazing!! Very informative, friendly and it was a great experience thanks to him. We stopped for some really good tamales on way out of the ruins and then went through pineapple town for the most delicious honey pineapple he got for us. Loved it!!

Nice, educational trip. - Enjoyable and educational trip to Chacchoben ruins. Our guide Rafael was great, and represented the area well. On the way back, we stopped and had delicious pineapple. Nice touch! I would’ve given a five star review had CM not overbooked our trip and put 15 customers in a van with 14 guest seats. Also, the van was wobbly. CM should get it checked out by a mechanic. Recommendation: Offer an Adults Only option. Most adults don’t want misbehaving children on their trip, and would pay a little more for this option.

Interesting, but with a little limitations - Interesting to know something about the Mayan culture, and also interesting to know the Mayan ruins. Just a little bit away from the port the meeting place... that awkward part... everything was left over because we had to take a taxi to get there. We had limitations when walking.

Ok but not great - Don't believe everything you read. Learning the ancient culture was great, wild life was scarce, only water available no cokes,no food opportunity available and no beach time at all.
