It was a long drive from Playa del Carmen but it was totally worth it. The temples in Muyil were really beautiful and it was great that there were no other people except for our group. Once arrived in Bacalar, we had a short time to see the fort from the outside, but we couldn’t go in there. Afterwards we went to the lagoon. Sadly it was a rainy day, but the lagoon was still very pretty. The tour overview is exactly what you will do and see. Just the cenotes are open spots in the lagoon, not like the caves. The lunch, in a traditional Mexican restaurant, was the best food we had during our time in Mexico. Paulina is the nicest guide we have ever had. She told a lot about everything and was very kind. Nice to go in a small group. Really recommend this tour.
