Visit the central church, pass by the Venetian Tower of Barozzi, and explore the scenic Fasolas neighborhood, where a century-old grocery shop awaits. After a brief pause at the local “kafeneion,” savor traditional Greek coffee and local seasonal mezedes (Greek tapas).
• Apeiranthos - A visit to Apeiranthos offers the opportunity to experience the renowned marble village and taste bread from a traditional bakery with a wood-fired oven. The architectural style of Apeiranthos’ houses has remained largely unchanged since the Venetian Empire, featuring narrow marble-paved mule tracks, often covered by archways, Venetian defense towers exemplifying the fortification architecture of the era, two-story stone houses with unique architectural details, and quaint squares.
