Best Tour! Best Guide! It made us fall in live with Chandigarh. - We had the best tour with Rusty! He knows Chandigarh so well and gave so many great insights and also brought us to the best food and coffee places! And he is seriously so funny! It felt like we shown around by a friend. I was not even specifcally super interested in architecture before, but I am so glad we booked the tour! We were also able to ask all the questions we had about indian society and culture. Chandigarh is such a great city as well! Rusty picked us up and even dropped us at the railway station at the end of the tour. Fully recommend this tour! Thank you Rusty!

Inside scoop with Rusty! - We had an amazing time with Rusty to see the inside stories of Chandigarh, which totally gave us an insightful understanding of the true narrative of its inception, construction and current life. Rusty is a local true and true, giving us exceptional details and understanding into the cultural nuances that continue to shape Chandigarh as a city. We also appreciated the humour and presence he brings and absolutely recommend that you take the tour with him. One bonus mention - the driver he works with is also amazing with a super clean, comfortable and smooth car.

Rusty will make sure you get the most out of your trip - Rusty knows Chandigarh like the back of his hand, and he has every right to be very proud of his hometown. We spent two days exploring the city with him: one day dedicated to the architecture of Le Corbusier and Jeanneret, and the second to other tourist sites. We even stayed in the historic Maison Jeanneret. Rusty is very knowledgeable and friendly and his numerous anecdotes are very entertaining. He has quite a directive style, but we needed that to keep us in line so that we could keep focused and fit in all that there was to see. His English is excellent. His advice on restaurants and culinary specialities was invaluable and always spot-on. Initially, we had booked a two-day tour of Chandigarh, but we ended up spending the entire week with our trusty guide, also visiting Shimla and Amritsar. Initially, when he gave us his quote for the week for the three of us, I baulked at the price, considering it very expensive, especially by Indian standards. However, with hindsight we could never have seen so much in such a ridiculously short space of time on our own. Rusty was absolutely indispensable and not just during our stay in India; he had clearly spent a lot of time organising the trip before we even arrived. He booked our train tickets from Delhi and met us off the train. He called hotels to confirm our reservations and even paid a deposit for a hotel that didn't accept Visa cards. So, I wholeheartedly recommend booking with Rusty.

Amazing tour with a passionate guide! - Me and my group of friends had a fantastic private tour with Rusty! He picked us up at our hotel and we had a 7-hour tour of Chandigarh cantered around Architecture, Le Corbusier/Jeanneret. I loved his knowledge and love for the city, his takes/opinions as a local born and raised in Chandigarh, and his wonderful sense of humour. I definitely recommend. His expertise is not pompous, it’s accessible, inclusive and rooted in passion. I am sad I that I didn’t know he also does tours of Shimla as I was there last week! I will have to come back! Huge thanks

The Hipster Rocks - This tour was excellent. Rusty was an extremely well informed and charming host. Due to an unexpected public holiday being declared the previous evening, meaning key sites were closed, he still filled a full day with several fascinating visits and the best lunch we have had in India at the Jullundur Hotel. The highlight for us was the rock garden , which was frankly world class. We had no idea! He led the tour with humour and a real insight into life in India By the end we all agreed that Chandigarh underpromises and overdelivers! We all intend to come back with our families. And we will all sign up for the Rusty experience!

Chandigarh Architecture Tour Review - I joined an architecture tour in Chandigarh and highly recommend it. It’s perfectly safe for a solo female traveler. The guide has a wealth of knowledge not found in any guidebook and takes you comfortably and efficiently around the city by car. He was very knowledgeable and made a genuine effort to understand my limited English. He also shared stories about topics I’m interested in, such as gender and everyday life in Chandigarh, which made the experience even more engaging. He was considerate of my dietary restrictions and took me to clean, safe restaurants that suited my needs. This two-day tour offers a deep insight into the philosophy and architectural works of Le Corbusier and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret — a must for anyone passionate about architecture.

Making architecture fun & fascinating! - Fabulous day finding out the stories behind the building of Chandigarh, India’s most unique city. Who would have thought a city’s administrative complex or its university campus would be so fascinating? Rusty makes it a fun experience with humour and hard facts - plus time for snacks and drinks in cool places along the way.
