This wine-tasting tour is a must-do on your first day in Chania.

The tour begins at Anassa Boutique Hotel and Cafe located on the Old Venetian Harbor. Participants will gain insights into wine tasting while enjoying two wines with a stunning view of the lighthouse. A small snack is served alongside the wines. The guide will also highlight recommended spots for lunch, dinner, wine, and cocktails along the harbor.

The next destination is Kritamon Wine Bar & Restaurant, where two additional wines are sampled with a snack. The charming narrow streets behind the harbor, known as “ta stenakia,” will captivate visitors.

The tour continues with a walk to Splantzia Square, a neighborhood rich in historical significance. Here, two more Cretan wines are tasted, each paired with a small snack.

The final stop is at a local wine shop to sample a sweet dessert wine made using the ancient liasto method. Participants have the opportunity to purchase any wines they enjoyed during the tour.
