This tour is a must! - Our tour director was phenomenonal! He was extremely knowledgable, born and raised in the area. He was flexible and made all if our wishes become reality. Thoroughly enjoyed being away from all of the hustle and bustle amd exploring the beauty of the area off the beaten track. Definitely happy we chose this tour.

A perfectly tailored tour by a brilliant engaging guide - Apostolis established exactly what we were looking for and took us on a perfectly tailored tour of some charming, beautiful and historic locations, including mountain villages, (Theriso & Stilos) a stunning mountain gorge, (Therisos), the incredible sprawling Roman remains of the ancient city of Aptera (originally Minoan and situated in the hills above the bay of Souda) and the sublimely serene monastery of Saint George. We stopped for coffee in the most idyllic river side location in the mountains and enjoyed an authentic Cretian lunch in a tranquil green valley in the mountains.
Apostolis is a passionate expert on the history and culture of Greek and Cretan civilisation and we found him to be warm, friendly, genuine, generous and highly engaging. We wish we had discovered him at the beginning of our holiday. This experience was incredibly good value for a personal private tour.

Wonderful exploration of Cretan villages. - Apostolic was a wonderful tour guide. He drove us into the mountains around Chania and we visited villages, monasteries, Roman ruins, churches and a typical taverna where we had a delicious lunch. We also drove through a beautiful gorge. Apostolic is very knowledgeable and professional. He is friendly and easy to talk to and answered all of questions about Cretan history and culture. We highly recommend his tours.
