• Imbros Gorge - Situated in the province of Sfakia, Imbros Gorge is the second largest gorge in Crete, following Samaria Gorge. Its stunning scenery and natural beauty, combined with its low difficulty level, make it perfect for families with children. The gorge spans 9km and the hike takes about 3 hours. Starting from Imbros village, hikers will journey to “Komitades” village, encountering remnants of the old stone-paved trail that once served as the main route from Sfakia to Chania.
• Komitades - Along the descent, hikers will pass through notable spots such as the “Airplane,” “Stenada,” “Mesofarago,” and “Xepitira Arch.” After about an hour of walking, they will reach the narrowest section of the gorge, where the walls are less than 2 meters apart and rise 300m high. At the gorge’s end, “Komitades village” awaits, where a bus will transport visitors to Chora Sfakion.
• Hora Sfakion - Chora Sfakion serves as the capital of the remote and mountainous region of Sfakia. The rugged landscape is complemented by a peaceful, charming seaside village. The sandy beach with its crystal-clear blue waters offers a perfect spot for relaxation after the hike. Several coffee shops and taverns are scattered throughout the village. In the northern part, visitors can explore the ruins of the Venetian “Fortress of Sfakia” or “Castel di Sfacia,” which provides a panoramic view of Sfakia and showcases the area’s natural beauty.

Once we pick you up, we’ll embark on a picturesque journey towards the southwest, passing through charming villages like Vrysses. The road will be adorned with magnificent olive trees and dotted with small rivers, creating a truly mesmerizing backdrop.

Around 9:30, we’ll make a refreshing coffee stop at the entrance of Imbros gorge before embarking on an unforgettable adventure through this scenic wonder. With an approximate duration of 3 hours, our knowledgeable guide will be by your side, providing captivating insights about our lovely island and the breathtaking gorge.

As we reach the exit of the gorge, you’ll find our air-conditioned bus awaiting to transport you to a quaint traditional village where you can indulge in delectable Cretan flavors or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Libyan Sea.

Around 17:00, we’ll commence our journey back to the pick-up points, ensuring your safe and comfortable return.
