The journey begins from Therisos, a quaint Cretan village located 16 km away from the city of Chania. This village holds significant historical value about the liberation of the Cretans. The awe-inspiring Theriso Gorge with its stunning landscape is visible from the road that trails the gorge for 6 km.
Next, you’ll proceed to Zourvas, a village settled in the Crete’s inland, 24 km from Chania town. A tarmac yet inclined roadway directs to the edge of Lefka Ori.
Following that, you’ll visit Meskla, a calm and charming traditional village nestled in the Keritis Valley. The village is characterized by traditional stone cottages. A river flows through the valley, and the chalk-colored mountains can be seen from afar. Meskla has experienced destruction during both the Venetian and the Ottoman rule.
To culminate the tour, your guide will escort you back to your accommodation.
