• Omalos - Early in the morning, guests will be picked up from designated spots around Chania via a luxurious bus, arriving at the starting point of the tour in Omalos Plateau around 7 am. The panoramic view of the gorge from the plateau is a photographer’s dream, and after a brief stop for photos, the descent begins down 600 wooden steps into the Samaria Gorge. Flanked by the White Mountains and with ample drinking water available from natural springs along the way, this self-paced hike promises unforgettable memories for every traveler. A hiking escort will accompany the group to ensure everyone’s safety and provide assistance if needed.
• Agia Roumeli - Agia Roumeli is a truly unique destination. This tranquil community is nestled between towering, wild mountains and a long beach of fine pebbles by the deep blue, crystal-clear Libyan Sea. The hike will conclude at Agia Roumeli, a beach located at the end of the gorge.
At approximately 17:00, guests will board a boat to the charming village of Sougia, where the return journey to the original pick-up location will commence.
