- Elafonissi Beach - Off the southwestern tip of Crete, about 75 kilometers from Chania town, lies Elafonisi beach and small island. It is within walking distance from the mainland, sometimes without even getting one’s toes wet. It was once used by pirates to hide their loot (lafyra) and that is how it got its name. The island (about 1.3 km long and 400 meters wide) is a protected nature reserve and boasts one of the finest sand beaches in the country. More than that, Elafonisi is the only Greek contender in a Tripadvisor list of the world’s 25 best beaches for 2014. This is to be expected: blindingly white-pink sand, turquoise-white lagoon-like waters that ripple as they pick up the breeze, an exotic place with sporadic vegetation against the stark bareness of the Cretan mountains. On the island discover numerous small coves, sandy beaches and interesting rock formations. It is also home to 110 plant species including the protected Androcymbium rechingeri, which is as rare as it sounds.

We had an amazing... - We had an amazing experience on this tour! Everything was perfectly organized, and the itinerary was well thought out. Irene and Kostas were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole journey even more enjoyable. The places we visited were stunning, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail throughout the trip. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and seamless experience!

Exceptional - Highly recommended excursion to see two very nice beaches. Both the guide and the driver of 10, exceptional hosts. They left us umbrellas, snorkel glasses, offered us drink, the food was very good. In short, highly recommended by the beaches but especially by the guides, extraordinary.

Greek dreams - Irene and Kosta were so nice. Irene was so nice, down to earth and very knowledgeable. She communicated well and knew a lot about her Cretan culture and was happy to share it with us. Kosta was a great hunk, had very muscular arms. He was so cute that I wanted to eat him up and put him in some pita bread and just devour him. The beaches were beautiful. The beach that begins with a E has beautiful crystal clear water but was too shallow. The beach that begins with a F was more my type of a beach and I preferred that beach over the E beach. The olive tree and shopping were great too.They packed us cute little sandwiches and dessert. The coach was comfortable and had good AC. They gave us plenty of water. I rate this trip 10/10. U must check them out. I highly recommend them.

Perfect, don't hesitate! - A small group of five, including my daughter and myself, travelled in a comfortable minivan, accompanied by our guide Irene and our driver Kostas, both excellent and very competent.
The organization was perfect, down to the smallest details: drinks, snacks, beach equipment, etc.
Everything was taken into account, for example, there was more wind in Falassarna than in Elafonissi, and the time of day was adjusted to spend more time in Elafonissi and less time in Falassarna. We very much appreciated this decision.
We travel regularly in Crete and are very happy to have found a perfect company for our excursions.

Warm, educational and perfect for families - This tour was exceptional from start to finish. When booking, I noted my 11-year-old gets dizzy in cars—our driver Kostas drove smoothly all day, and both he and our guide Irene offered to stop anytime. They’re first-aid trained, which was reassuring.
Irene, a forester, made the trip educational with fascinating facts about Cretan culture, herbs, and olive oil. We stopped to see mountain goats and vultures, visited a beekeeper’s café, enjoyed peaceful early hours at Elafonisi Beach before the crowds, relaxed at the stunning Falasarna Beach, and toured the world’s oldest olive tree with an olive oil tasting.
Irene and Kostas were warm and kind to my son, keeping him engaged the whole time. Convenient pick-up in Platanias and smooth organization made it stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone—especially families—wanting a mix of beach time, nature, culture, and hospitality.

Best ever tour, book it 1000% - Irene and Kostas are the best duo ever! Irene is so kind and knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna, history, myths, traditions, etc. She kept us all feeling very energized and comfortable. Kostas was also very helpful, always offering water and willing to pull over whenever we wanted a scenic views, and he is a super safe and smooth driver. They provided all the items we needed to enjoy both beaches (umbrellas, lunch boxes w yummy pies, tons of cold water, mats, etc).
Highlight of my time in Chania truly, you feel like a little family with the rest of your group all because of Irene and Kostas. This tour experience was so amazing, I don’t know if any other will ever compare.

Awesome Beach and Olive Tree Tour. - We went to the two beaches and an olive tree tour and had a great time. Christine and Thanos were awesome and made the beach and olive tree tour interesting and fun. They were flexible with the schedule and very attentive in ensuring our needs were met. I would definitely recommend this tour company and plan to use them in the future.

Very great day - Very great day, well organized, nice experience, and we learned a lot about traditional cretan foods, way of life, locals customs, olive oil during the trip. Elafonissi beach and Falassarna beach are also amazing
