Upon arrival, collect your ticket and take the internal shuttle uphill to start your exploration. You can choose between the east-line tour, west-line tour, or both.
Enjoy 5 hours of sightseeing before the bus tour guide leads you back to the parking lot to board the bus returning to Beijing.

Amazing tour guide Li! - Amazing experience! The Wall by itself offers stunning views and the sense of millennia of history is everywhere! Out trip was made even more fantastic by our amazing guide, Li. She was informative and funny and gave us the perfect tips on how to approach our visit for the maximum views!
We just needed a bit more time there though… the queues and the time it takes to go everywhere… if you can opt for more time do so!

No frills transport to the Great Wall, good value - This tour was as described, so if you want easy transport to the Great Wall so that you can explore on your own, book it. The bus was clean, and it was well-organized. My guide, Evelyn, reached out the night before to ensure I was clear on departure information. On the bus, she shared minimal history, and then she took time with each person to choose what options they wanted (cable car, toboggan, etc.). You’ll prepay by cash or WeChat/alipay so that she could buy the tickets quickly for the group upon arrival.
A couple of notes on the wall itself: if 5 hours seems too long, it’s definitely not on a crowded day. You have to take a shuttle to/from the wall at 20-30min each way (most of that waiting in line), and the slide line took just over an hour, so there was really only 3hr for the wall. Some areas on the wall were so crowded and tight to get through that it seemed like I was at an amusement park waiting in lines. It was still worth it, just don’t think it will be a completely idyllic setting. And you will definitely not be alone, there were tons of people having photo shoots for social media. I wasn’t able to with my work schedule, but try for a weekday. And my other advice is to walk between towers 6 and 14, it’s the least crowded so you have a bit more space to enjoy the splendor.

Family trip - Well organized and friendly guided tour with Roger and his team. The service provides offers on how to approach Great Wall convenient to you and to avoid queues and waiting time. All needed explanation was given.

There - I love Jackie Chan. he was a fantastic and fun guide. this was my only opportunity to visit the great wall of china and he did an amazing job!!!

1 more hour would be better - Great tour of Mutianyu Great Wall. 5 hrs is just enough to do both east (chair lift+ taboggan) and west (cable car) sections one after the other if you can climb fast.

too much time is wasted - We arrived late due to traffic .the guide although kind proved to be little organized .we lost so much time for booking tickets and despite this we lost further time to take pictures with the group !On the return it was worse .instead of leaving in 1730 We left at 18:15 .part of the group had not arrived at the appointment. those present were boarded on another coach but obviously all this took time.
