Important history - A good experience not too far from town giving an impactful education on American history, the slave trade, and the experiences of enslaved people. The museums in the enslaved people’s cabins, the presentation on Gullah culture and history, and the tractor farm tour (Ted was awesome!) were highlights. The main house is not antebellum so less interesting but the property overall is attractive especially the beautiful oaks lining the dramatic entry drive.

Excellent - Beautiful plantation. We were so glad we choose this plantation. The drive in with the trees was beyond exceptional and the plantation house was just like what you in the movies. The plantation has so much history which was presented in a balanced way. It is also very well preserved.

Boone plantation tour - It was an interesting tour, esp. Seeing the slave quarters and seeing the Gullah presentation. We learned more about their creole language and music. The live Oaks were beautiful!

Boone Hall Plantation - amazing talks! - We chose this tour because it provided transportation. Our driver was very friendly and provide information about the farm and also Charleston - he provided great restaurant suggestions as well. The oak lined drive was beautiful. The mansion was nice but this building was built after the Civil War. The slave quarters and the Gullah talk were very interesting and informative. Attended all the talk, but didn't have time to do the wagon ride. So glad we did this!

Boone Hall with Transport - The bus accommodations were tight and people were crawling over each other. A bus with a center aisle is preferred. The house tour only included 3 rooms which was too few. We could have used more time exploring the grounds. Scott was a great tour guide.
