Great way to begin your visit to Charleston SC - Thorough tour of the city with our host, John. Covered the major sites of the city with background detail and insight into the history of the attractions. This package also included the tour to Fort Sumter. Well worth the price paid.

Definitely recommend! - Had a great time! The tour went through all the places to see and great for a first time tourist trip to Charleston. Gave us a good idea of what we wanted to do later on. Would recommend it for a morning or first day in the city to get a good idea of layout. Inside the bus so weather isn’t an issue and the guide/driver was funny and very knowledgeable.

Disappointed - Our bus was very noisy due to people talking over the guide. She did her best to quiet them, but it didn't help. It was too bad. We had really looked forward to it.

Very nice tour of the city - I booked a Grayline tour after doing the carriage tour which only did one zone of the historic district, barely scratching the surface of the city. We had a very "colorful" drive - she was a really funny storyteller, and did a fantastic job of the tour. However, I had a hard time following her accent since she was talking so fast, and I wish it was a bit slower since we zoomed past some of the places. However, we got to see the entire city which was lovely, and it was a thorough tour. I highly recommend this tour provided you can go back and walk around the areas that you liked. My tweens were bored though, especially since they had a hard time with the fast accent as well. I did have one complaint though, and for that alone I gave this 3 stars. I booked it with a mansion tour, but the mansion was not included in the tour. All they did was give me tickets and ask me to go at the time tours are done in the mansion, which I could have done myself. I had no time to go for a separate additional tour, so I asked for a refund and have not heard back. I do not recommend combining multiple tours with them. There are so many other bus tours and I wonder if we should have taken another one instead.

Minibus ride - The driver was entertaining but got a little lost in her own nonsense. I did not feel like I learned much about Charleston and was often confused about what she was talking about. She kept saying look up, for example. We were on a minibus - the only up is the ceiling. I think she meant up the street. Anyway with some redirection she would probably be great.
