Wonderful Charleston Tour and Visit - Alan was great! Very knowledgeable & entertaining! Will tell friends about this tour! Charleston is a very walkable town. The shopping on King St. is off the "Richter Scale"! Bar 167 for oysters and The Bennett Rooftop were great. Also, Magnolia. Can;t wait to return to Charleston with more friends.

Great Tour - Really interesting tour. We selected it because it included places that aren’t included in other tours we’ve taken.

Buyer beware. The guide ruined what could have been a very enjoyable tour. - The tour would have been excellent … but the guide ruined it. The tour bus was comfortable. The route included areas we wanted to see. Unfortunately, the guide appeared to be auditioning for a job as a cheap cruise ship comic. We wanted to see The Citadel, which we did. But the guide’s disdain for all things related to the Citadel was very disappointing. As a military Veteran who served with Citadel graduates, I found his narrative disgusting. In addition, the statistics on the percentage of Citadel graduates that take commissions in the military services were flat out wrong. We also looked forward to seeing the houses along the battery and hearing about their history and architecture. Instead, the guide droned on and on about the celebrities he had met while walking dogs in the area. We also wanted to hear about the shots fired on Fort Sumter that started the Civil War. The guide made no mention of Fort Sumter. The tour ended at the City Market. The guide offered no history on the market (slaves were marketed there). Instead, his only comments focused on what not to buy there. And those are just a few of the things that made this tour so very, very disappointing.
