Book if you like history as much as food! - A really good sampling of Charleston specific cuisine. Our guide, Page, tied the history of the city and the foods we tried beautifully. I appreciate her passion for the city she loves. Very informative.

Great food and a history lesson - Page was very interesting and informative about the history of food and the local people. The Gullah Geechee people brought so much to the area, sharing the foods of the culture and the agriculture lessons. Definitely worth it!! Thank you Page!!

Great experience - Page is very knowledgeable of the area. I appreciated her sharing about the Gulla people. You can tell it is her passion to keep this history told! Afterwards I asked my 21 year old great nephew if he liked it and he said a big yes, though he was keeping up with his Steelers score during the tour.

History, cultural and food tour - Page was very informative regarding local history and how the food evolved with the blending of cultures in Charleston . The food was a good sampling and enough that we did not need to go for dinner afterwards as we were full. Great tour

Wealth of historical knowledge and delicious tastings - The tour was a great experience! Food was delicious and filling - and Page was amazing - such a wealth of knowledge about the Charleston area - its history, geography, industry development, culinary evolution, and more - and presented it all with a wonderful holistic perspective. Highly recommend it!

Best Food Tour Eva! - The very first tour we usually do in a city we visit is a food tour. This one was the best hands down if you enjoy good food and especially history. Paige is the best! She took us to three great restaurants and explained in detail the significance of the food to the local culture. At the end of our tour she gave everyone a gift bag of locally made butter cookies! In addition Paige explained the history of Charleston just like a professional storyteller! It was an interesting amazing afternoon. I highly recommend this tour for y’all visiting Charleston!

Rainy day in Charleston - Plenty of food. So pace yourself and you can take it to go if you wish to save it for later. Our guide Paige was accurate with all of Charleston history which was very nice. She’s been part of The city since she was a young g child and loves her city. We had a good time in “ Charles Town”.

Wonderful guide, but wish there were stops at more restaurants. - Page was a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable, but I wish there were more than three restaurant stops on the tour.

History tour through the guides eyes - Like other reviews said there are only three stops, and the food was not anything worth writing home about other than the soup. She was very informative but had a point she wanted to make with the history she presented.
