Situated in the Old Exchange building at Broad and East Bay Streets, this dungeon held prisoners under British control during the American Revolution. Accused of treason or sedition, hundreds were confined here, with some spending their final days within its walls. With over two centuries of enigma, we are honored to showcase its vast interior. Our knowledgeable and fully certified guides will lead you on a 90-minute journey through not only the dungeon, but also Charleston’s spooky and shadowy Historic District, along with the streets of the Holy City, graveyards, back lanes, and places of worship.

• Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure time
• The pace of our walking tour is leisurely
• If you are with any other parties, please give us two hours advance notice. With no notice, we may not be able to keep your groups together.
