Knowledgeable - We had a great time with our tour guide Brian, he knows a lot of history and about Charleston. He showed us things to look for while we’re on our own walking the city , also met some great people in our group , glad we did it.

Such a great way to start... - Such a great way to start our weekend in Charleston. We loved our history and hops tour - perfect amount of history and exploring downtown along with some amazing cocktails! Captain Brian was the highlight to the tour, he was so knowledgeable and friendly. We found ourselves sharing what we learned with the rest of our friends after the tour.. Loved that it was a small group (only 8 of us!) We highly recommend this tour w Captain Brian.

Great tour! - Bryan did a phenomenal job on the tour. One thing that we really liked is that he focused on the true history of Charlotte, rather than just legends or unverified statements. I would definitely recommend to everyone who visits the Charlotte area. + I highly recommend the hard sweet tea at the first bar.

Captain Bryan Rocks! - We had Captain Bryan for our tour. He was well informed and evidentially cares about not just Charleston or South Carolinian history, but is excited to get tourists to engage in history. As a group, we had a lot of fun seeing two locally ran and operated bars that serve local drinks, as well as walking a few blocks to place ourselves into history.

Columbia Couple Nov 2025 - It wasn't what I thought it would be. You would assume on a hops walking tour, the hops would be included. I feel cheated that it wasn't relayed upfront that alcohol is not included in the $70 per couple fee.
