Honest and insightful tour. - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour of the older area of Charleston led by Ruth Miller. We appreciated the historical aspect of various buildings and areas and how the population grew and changed over the past several hundred years. I easily could have spent the day with Ruth, wandering the streets with her and learning more about Charleston.

Definitely recommend, affordable and informative. - Informative, knowledgeable tour guide, Gordon. Group was the right size. Definitely worth the time and cost.Needed to change our time due to rainy weather, and that was quickly and efficiently done with just a phone call to the office. Definitely recommend this to others who can walk a couple miles, and have an interest in history.

Great tour for history buffs! - We were taken on an enjoyable and exciting journey of the historic sites and stories of Charleston over the years. Mike Hebb, our tour guide, was excellent as he packed the tour with information about the history of buildings, activities in various structures, history of the fires in Charleston and their impact, Revolutionary and Civil War tidbits and related stories of war heroes throughout. This was a fabulous tour. We were able to learn a good deal about the city in a few hours. Mike brought his deep educational background and experience in the subject matter to this tour, and as a result the experience exceeded our expectations.

A Worthwhile Walking Tour - David was an excellent guide on our 2 hour walking tour. He shared all sorts of facts and stories about Charleston's history in a way kept us in want for more! There was every indication that he enjoys his role as guide. He was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and engaging. We learned much and felt it was a worthwhile way to spend part of our last full day in Charleston.

Great Walking Tour for History and Culture! - Excellent walking tour [be sure to wear comfortable shoes]! Our guide was very informative and we covered a nice size area. Guide paused in areas of shade and had a spot or two to rest your feet/back, lol! If you are looking to take in some history and culture, this is a great tour!

Memorable visit to Charleston and the Lowcountry - My daughters gave me this tour as a birthday gift. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it and Lisa Berezny was a fantastic guide. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the city of Charleston. The city is beautiful and the people are so friendly. It is a jewel that if you happen to be down south in the Lowcountry you need to visit and take in the history and the citizens that make it a truly wonderful place to see.

An awesome and memorable experience - Our tour guide Graham was awesome! He did an excellent job and kept us engaged even while it was raining. Our guide stood in the rain and conducted our tour and provided a wealth of truth and transparency about the establishment of the Charleston, SC, the Revolutionary and Civil war, the Atlantic Slave Trade, Antebellum, and how African slaves actually built and contributed to the making the economy and wealth of the elite. I would recommend him again.

Excellent Tour! - Great tour, super knowledgeable, very engaging guide! The tour mostly includes walking in the formerly "walled" part of Charleston. We walked along the waterfront, East Bay and Battery Street for a part of the tour. Interesting, engaging, informative!
