Great tour of PEI - My husband and I had a wonderful 4 hr. tour of PEI. Our driver was very knowledgeable about everything pertaining to the island. We saw more in the 4 hrs. with him than we could have seen by ourselves in a whole day or more. It was really great and I would recommend this tour to everyone.

Humorous and knowledgeable guide - Thoroughly enjoyed our small group tour of Prince Edward Island. Our tour guide Joe MacDonald was knowledgeable and added touches of humour to this tour. After a small tour of Charlottetown we headed off to Cavendish and the Anne of Green Gables museum. We stopped en route at a small restaurant and gift shop before arriving at ‘Avonlea’ . Joe had extensive knowledge of the history of the island and the life of the author Lucy Maud Montgomery . Perhaps an extra fifteen minutes in Cavendish would have been useful but we then headed to one of the historic parks on the north coast for a drive along the shoreline. We had a big hold up due to a Canada Day parade in North Rustico but that just added to the interest of our tour. There was a final brief stop for photos at a lighthouse before heading back to Charlottetown . Happy to recommend this tour.

Charlottetown, PEI Anne of Green Gables and Lovely Drive - We toured with Jacob, and had a private tour because the other group (of four) somehow missed the tour. Was impressed by how the tour guide called, texted, and went looking for the group of four, and even waited 20 minutes past the tour time for the group. Very gracious. Jacob was knowledgeable about nearly everything we asked about. Fishing, flora and fauna, economics, government, housing….very impressive. His driving was impeccable, and he managed to get us close to every venue we visited. He even drove onto a (car-capable) dock so I could get some great photos of boats similar to those we see on Chesapeake Bay. Our visit to the Anne of Green Gables venue was excellent, and I recommend it even if you don’t know about the book. The gardens at this time of year take your breath away. The trip around just a quarter of the island was quite enjoyable with diverse landscape, from rocky crags to sandy beaches. Jacob was able to explain why so many of the trees were knocked down or dying. My only surprise was the owner’s call to Jacob and his request to turn the van around and pick up the missing four passengers. We were more than 40 minutes into our tour, and to turn around would have meant a most disappointing shortened tour. Glad that we did not do this, as no one would have had a good time with such a short tour. If this helps anyone find the tour company….we met Jacob after we walked through the Food Market, which is beyond the pier. Walk all the way through the market until you see the tourism help desk and then walk outside the doors. There are Adirondack chairs just outside the building. We met Jacob there. All in all, a lovely visit, and the tour only made me want to see more of the lovely island. Exactly the feeling you want a tour guide to give you!

Great time exploring some of PEI! - Jacob was communicative, welcoming and a wealth of knowledge! We had another group in our tour who were running late and he waited an extra 20 minutes making every effort to reach them. Unfortunately, no luck so we ended up with a private tour. He was also willing to make an extra stop for us at a soap store and dropped us off where we could find souvenirs. Had a wonderful 4+ hours with Jacob and highly recommend him!

Nice tour, dated vehicle - The tour was very nice. We had time at some stops and enjoyed the scenery a great deal. My only question- the van was old. It was fairly comfortable but people had to “squeeze” in, crawl into the third seat. I still rate our tour guide high but are all the vehicles as dated as ours?

Childhood memories brought to life - Really enjoyed our tour of PEI in a small group tour . Four of us joined driver, Joe, at the port from our cruise ship, then collected another couple from further in the town. A very informative and light hearted delivery of historic and cultural information along the journey. We seemed to be ahead of the big tour buses which meant we got to the Anne of Green Gables homestead when fairly quiet. Childhood memoires came to life. It was Canada day and we had the benefit /hindrance of a carnival parade enroute , a bonus to see all the tractors fire engine and lorries in their bunting and flags. Light houses and beach on the return journey. In all a good tour with good company.

Saw a lot of Prince... - Saw a lot of Prince Edward island. Went to anne of green gables museum. Wasn't sure if free or not as driver/guide just dropped us off. Thought we were going over one of the bridges but that didn't happen. Didn't think overall it was good value for money
