The ideal garden - That was the theme of the 2022 festival. All the proposals were interesting. A few gardens particularly touched me in their thinking and design. The immense Goualoup meadows transport us to every corner of the world. Throughout the castle grounds, the stable yard, the commons and the castle itself, artists compete for creativity. All works of art are sublimated in these enchanting gardens. We spent a whole day there without being able to see everything.

An enchantment - I haven't been back in 10 years, and I'm delighted... Everything is highlighted, the theme is in the spotlight and all the compositions are superb. The price seems completely justified to me because we can spend at least 4 hours, between the mother earth exhibition where freshness, purity, the country side and vegetable garden is in the spotlight, the permanent gardens on the meadow side and the sculpture courses... not to mention the visit of the castle and stables and the magnificent park to complete this beautiful day... a real good way to sublimate nature...Let's not forget the view of the courtyard of the castle...Miss the valley of mists (covid obliges .. but everything is well organized precisely to be serene compared to sanitary conditions.

The gardens of the earth return to Mother Earth - Beautiful garden. Lots of freshness this year in the gardens with the theme of the earth. Everything is organized so that we do not cross paths with the end of the pandemic. It is fluid. Same in the castle

A world of poetry to study - Festival International des Jardins de Chaumont-sur-Loire Theme 2020 Gardens of the Earth, Return to Mother Earth A world of poetry study. I know, it might seem weird that way. But nothing is left to chance, well... nothing seems left to chance. Gardeners are poets who also spread messages. They have the creative and generous fiber. They don't work, they exist. They sometimes have a sharp vision of the problems of our time but they coat their solutions with softness. Their first point is sharing. When I think about it, I've done most of my life the best job ever. The eye records the scene, the mind takes hold of it and carries you away with the nostalgia for a world that fades, the worry of a complicated present and the folly hope for a bright future. Then, as they say, it's each his own way, each one his own way...but always with respect for Mother Nature from which we still and always have so much to learn.

A beautiful discovery in the heart of the Loire Valley castles - We discover a succession of ephemeral creations made by gardening artists... There is something for everyone: from the classic to the most original. It is a real pleasure to see nature become artistic works! With the bonus of visiting a castle and its stables in the heart of a huge park!!!

Great visit - With COVID . Very good organization. We follow a path so everyone goes in the same direction! Very nice to stroll in the gardens. A little pity that it lacks maintenance at the level of plant size. It grows a little in every way Beautiful castle to visit ... What a good time on the site. The price is correct

Nature yes, but ecology no - Excellent for the garden and landart part, a little less for visiting the castle. Sad that such a site does not make an effort in terms of recycling waste! at the restaurant Les Tilleuls everything is plastic even if some plastics are biodegradable everything is thrown in the same garbage! we have the impression that the ecology is present by political obligation but that in reality it is little practiced!

Beautiful walk still but disappointed despite everything! - Every year I have the impression that we lose flavor, capacity, beauty and originality: less means? less creative? where is gone the Whaou effect we had when we entered a garden a few years ago! really disappointed: now the spaces look the same with the same plants and some decorations in the middle: one or two kinds of lots without much magic despite everything. The evolution of the upper part is more visible ..When to the small part catering! the homemade ice cream with original fragrances disappeared under Cover of covid ..excuse very average (other places continue quite on the contrary to sell beautiful local products of the same type) especially since the toilet space is not very clean: here on the other hand it would be necessary to make an effort with gel at the entrance of the toilet and regular cleaning .. that I am disappointed a real relaxation that I do not explain!
