Namche Bazaar - The trek to Namche Bazaar is a lengthy one. The day starts with a gentle walk along the river, crossing several bridges until reaching the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park near Monjo village. In Nepali, Sagarmatha means ‘Everest’, and the Sherpas refer to it as Chomolungma, meaning ‘Great Mother’ in both languages.

Namche Bazaar - Enjoy a rest and free day at Namche Bazaar for essential acclimatization at this impressive altitude of over 3,440 m before ascending to higher elevations. Spend the day exploring scenic hikes and browsing the vibrant streets and shops. Namche hosts a lively and colorful Saturday Market every week.
Trek to Tengboche Monastery 3,867 m - 05 hrs
Tengboche - The trek to Tengboche begins via Phunki. The journey to Phunki is relatively easy. After reaching Phunki, ascend towards the largest monastery, Tengboche Monastery, located in Tengboche village. The UNESCO World Heritage site Sagarmatha National Park is also here, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku. Overnight stay in Tengboche.
Trek to Dingboche 4,260 m - 05hrs.
Dingboche - The morning walk leads to a pleasant downhill for an hour to a bridge, where the tree line ends, giving way to short juniper and rhododendron bushes known as azalea, showcasing a dramatic change in landscapes. Ascend to the last permanent village at Pangboche, from where temporary settlements cater to trekkers’ needs at Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep areas. As the trek progresses, reach Somare and then a windswept country to a bridge following the Imjatse River, with a final climb into the beautiful Imjatse valley surrounded by famous peaks Amadablam-Lhotse with views of Island peaks towards the east. The day concludes at Dingboche, a summer settlement with barley and buckwheat fields enclosed by stone walls to protect from grazing animals.
At Dingboche with rest day for acclimatization
Dingboche - Dingboche serves as an acclimatization stop located in Chukung Valley. After breakfast, trek towards Chukung Valley, which is not very challenging. Enjoy lunch here. This valley is renowned for its stunning views of mountains such as Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, and Ama Dablam. Additionally, observe the beautifully arranged fields with stone walls to protect seasonal crops from cold winds and grazing animals. After this remarkable short trek, return to Dingboche for dinner and an overnight stay.
Trek to Lobuche 4,930 m - 05 hrs.
Lobuche - The morning starts with a short climb to a ridge with Buddhist prayer monuments, followed by a gradual path with a slow ascent, offering excellent mountain views, reaching a small place at Thugla for lunch. Here, the Khumbu glacier melts into a raging river, where paths from Pheriche and Dingboche converge. After a rest and refreshment stop, continue with a steep climb for an hour to Thugla pass, where memorials of climbers who perished on Mt. Everest, Lhotse, or other high mountains can be found. From this isolated spot, walk on a gradual path to reach Lobuche for an overnight stop.
Trek to Everest Base Camp 5,364 m and return to Gorakshep 5,180 m - 06 hrs.
Everest Base Camp - Today’s trek leads to the main highlight of the adventure at Everest Base Camp. The walk continues for a few hours with short steep climbs over glacier and moraine, reaching Gorakshep, beneath the lofty peaks of Pumori and Kalapathar. Continue towards Everest Base Camp over moraine and ice to reach the base camp, enjoying views of the tumbling and notorious Khumbu Ice Fall and glaciers. After a marvelous and thrilling experience, retrace the journey back to Gorakshep for an overnight stop.
Hike to Kalapathar 5,545 m trek to Pheriche 4,240m - 05 hrs.
Pheriche - In the morning, embark on a steep uphill hike to reach the top of Kalapathar at 5,545 meters, the highest point of the adventure, offering fabulous and unique views of mountains, including Mt. Everest at its closest. After an exhilarating experience with sweeping views, descend back to Gorakshep and continue walking up to Thugla, then downhill to Pheriche within a windy valley. Enjoy a scenic walk leading to Pheriche for an overnight stop, with many good lodges and a health post of HRA (Himalayan Rescue Association).
