Everest and other stunning peaks come into view. Spend two nights in Namche Bazaar. Trekking time is 7-8 hours.
ACCLIMATIZATION DAY IN NAMCHE BAZAAR
Namche Bazaar - The high elevation of the Everest region necessitates a day in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize to the thinner air. You may have felt breathless approaching Namche Bazaar. The best way to prevent Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) is to rest and adjust.
Namche Bazaar is a delightful place to spend a day. Visit the Sherpa Museum, enjoy baked goods at the bakery, or have a beer with the Sherpa people. The town’s colorful stone houses are a joy to explore. Experience the warm hospitality of the Sherpa community.
