This area is situated on the western side of the central Omo Gibe basin, nestled between the Dawro and Konta zones in the South West Ethiopia Peoples’ Region, in the southwest of Ethiopia.
- Chebera Churchura is a quaint town in the Kaffa province, known as the birthplace of coffee. It was here that a shepherd named Kaldis discovered coffee, which was then cultivated worldwide. The town boasts a charming local market.

Chebera Churchura National Park - - Discover the pristine and picturesque landscape and wildlife through driving and walking tours. In the protected forests and open grasslands, you can observe herds of African Elephants, Cape Buffalos, and Waterbucks.
- At Lake Bulo, set in a breathtaking landscape, you can spot Hippopotamuses. Other mammals in Churchura National Park include servals, greater kudus, colobus monkeys, and vervet monkeys. While lions and leopards are present, they are elusive.
