Before booking you NEED to read this… - Hey, Elías here.
We visited Morocco for the first time, and we decided to visit this wonderful town called Chefchaouen.
Fortunately for us, we were adopted by Mourad and his family who truly went their way to give us one of the best experiences we’ve ever had.
Mourad is a gentleman. He’s smart, attentive, warm, and very friendly(A common trait amongst Moroccan people). Once you meet him, we can guarantee you’ll be in good hands.
Class was hands on. We had an amazing teacher(Sora, we hope we wrote it correctly) and co-helpers that were present and overall very kind.
To summarize, if you’re looking for a TRUE experience of actual Moroccan culinary culture. This is the booking you need.
Me and my family(Brenda and Javier Elías) would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to Mourad for gifting us such a wonderful time and for making our first experience in Morocco a memorable one.

Very fun and authentic experience - I had an amazing time at the cooking class! I got to choose the dishes we made and Mourad the guide and translator explained me stuff about the town and sesasonal food during our market visit. Then I cooked with a Moroccan lady who showed me how to prepare delicious dishes, and Mourad and his friend were very entertaining the whole time. The food turned out delicious, and we spent the evening drinking tea and playing games. I also received the recipes after and I am looking forward to preparing them at home. I would recommend everyone to try this experience!

Tajines and talking - We really enjoyed our evening, from going to the local market to get the ingredient to the cooking of the tajines. But mostly the company, it felt like being part of the family for a night! Open conversations, sharing stories, laughter. We felt really at home this night, even when my dad and brother decided to come take a look because they were in the neighbourhood they were welcomed with open arms even though they didn’t join the cooking class. It was a night full of learning a lot about the warm Maroccan culture, and the bonus was the cooking skills we took home as well😊 thank you guys for an amazing evening, warm regards, the Dutch/Greek family!

Lovely experience - Really nice cooking class experience!! Everyone was lovely. Chefchaouen is nice to walk around, but it’s also nice to have an activity while visiting. It’s also nice to have a home cooked meal in the middle of traveling. There are a lot of tour companies for Chefchaouen- some that are large and run out of Tangier. Book with this local company instead.

Lovely authentic moroccan cooking class - Really lovely experience. From buying fresh ingredients at the market to cooking together, drinking tea, playing cards and sharing stories, everything felt warm and genuine. The whole experience was memorable, and we finished with an amazing authentic meal that we created together.
It's like your part of the family :)

It was a Meeting, Not Just Cooking! - A magnificent and truly authentic experience! This cooking class is not just about the recipes; it's about the extraordinary connection with the people. The family was so open and welcoming that I immediately felt at home. Their English skills were superb, and they were genuinely curious about my Polish culture, which created a beautiful, shared atmosphere.
While I learned to prepare amazing Moroccan dishes, the true takeaway is their unforgettable hospitality and the chance to see their real life up close. I recommend this from the bottom of my heart! I hope to visit again soon.

Book this! Great food and even better hosts! - Fantastic cultural experience with warm, welcoming and informative family. Equal parts city tour, cooking class, education on culture and customs, and amazing hospitality by a local family. If you have limited time, this packs it all in. Oh, and the food was delicious! In any event, don’t miss this!
