Great!!!! - This was such an amazing experience learning about Moroccan cooking and culture. The hosts were so kind and welcoming and we learned so much about Moroccan culture. It really felt like a local experience getting to know the community, and was an excellent way to end our trip in Chefchaouen. The food we cooked was really good too!

Wonderful! - Wonderful and fun experience! We were greeted by Murad and he was there throughout and our teacher was Zohra who was excellent and made sure we knew all the steps at the end. We made couscous and zaalouk. It was one of the best couscous we've had! The extra careful steps to make it surely added to it. Highly recommend this class.

Very good local experience - It was a very pleasant time to spend with Mourad's family, we exchange easily with them, we learn to make a (very good) tagine that we can reproduce (more or less) at home and we have the feeling to know a little better the inhabitants of Chefchaouen.

Cusine, laugh and culture sharing - This experience was amazing! Let yourself carried away by the flavours of Moroccan cuisine, by the spices and by the kindness, beauty and warmth of the Hiba family! Mourad, Selwa, Mourad, Chayo and co. are simply wonderful! We cooked 3 plates (zaalok, tajine and tajine kefta), we learned how to prepare the special mint tea and his secrets. If you can talk and dive in the moroccan culture just do it! You are in the righe place!

Fantastic experience with loving people - Wow, it was really fun and surprising to follow this workshop. They made a lot of time for us and shared a lot about the Moroccan cuisine and the spices. I did this with my daughter of 5 years and they were very helpful. Fantastic experience! Tip, bring your own plastic bags or a carrier bag to the market!

12/10!! - We were so glad we decided to do this cooking class & absolutely recommend it to anyone! It was more than just cooking, we also got to learn more about the city, play some local card games, learn how to make traditional Moroccan tea and watch a gorgeous sunset from the rooftop. Food was delicious and made in abundance. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, giving us other recommendations for activities to do while we’re here. If anybody is looking for something fun and a bit different this is for you. Lastly, we wanted to say thank you again to our hosts for a great time!!!

Very nice visit and cooking classes in a family - Very nice experience. I met several family members and they were all very welcoming, especially the young cousin whose name I unfortunately forgot. I learned to cook a tagine and got a piece of carrot cake for my birthday! Good choice of activity in Chefchaouen. Thank you!

Learn about culture while making traditional tagine - After two weeks in Morocco, Chefchaouen ended up being the place I enjoyed visiting the most. This was a simple visit to the market where we then went back to the guest house and made a chicken vegetable tagine together. The tagine was much like the one that a Berber family made me during my visit to the Atlas mountains. When I visit new countries, I do tours and classes because I want to learn about the culture and how they do things and why. That was what was so wonderful about this experience, the host and his family were so friendly and welcoming to my questions. I visited during Ramadan so we had iftar together and I was able to learn about the history and practice of it while we are the tagines that we made. The host later invited me to see his weaving workshop which was also very cool. I highly recommend this experience if you're interested in learning how to cook a traditional tagine and more about the Moroccan culture in general.
