A friendly driver will meet you in your hotel lobby at the prearranged time to take you directly to the Jinshanling Great Wall. The journey will take approximately 2 hours. During the drive, you can relax in the comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, either by taking a nap or enjoying the scenic views.

Upon arrival at the Great Wall, your driver will guide you to the ticket purchase area (tickets are at your own expense) and inform you where they will be waiting for you. It’s time to embark on your own Great Wall adventure! You also have the option to book a friendly guide service, who will accompany you on the hike, share historical insights and stories, take photos, or help watch your children throughout the day.

Jinshanling is an exciting hiking destination for adventurous travelers. It is the best-preserved section of the Great Wall, featuring many original elements. Unlike the more crowded sections like Badaling, Jinshanling offers a more tranquil hiking experience. The Jinshanling Great Wall was initially constructed during the Ming Dynasty. The renowned general Xu Da supervised its construction in the early Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Later, Qi Jiguang led several defense projects while protecting the northern area in 1567. The wall extends from the Wangjinglou Tower in the east to Longyukou in the west, covering about 10 kilometers (6 miles).

After several hours of hiking on the Wall, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
