- Jinshanling - Your personal guide and driver will meet you in the hotel lobby. Enjoy a private hiking tour of the Jinshanling section of the Great Wall with us. The drive from the hotel to Jinshanling, located in Miyun County, Beijing, takes approximately 2 hours.
We will head straight to the main entrance of Jinshanling, also known as the west part. If you are in excellent physical condition, you may choose to hike from the west to the east part of Jinshanling. Alternatively, you can take a cable car up, hike several watchtowers on the Great Wall, and then take the cable car down.
The hike covers about 6 km and takes 3-4 hours. Throughout the journey, you will pass many watchtowers and barrier towers, observing the contrast between the renovated and wild sections.
For lunch, we will dine at a local farmer’s restaurant. Please note that the lunch fee is not included. After lunch, the return trip to the hotel will take approximately 3 hours.
