The Jinshanling portion of the Great Wall spans 13 kilometers (8 miles) and is equipped with 90 watchtowers. These towers are positioned at intervals of approximately 100 meters, and in certain areas, the distance between them is even less, around 50-60 meters. This frequency of watchtowers is quite uncommon along the Great Wall.
