- Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - Your tour starts at 8:00am, when your guide and driver pick you up at the lobby of your hotel. You will first visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, as the pandas are very active in the morning. There you will see lovely furry giant pandas of all ages eating and playing with each other….
- Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - Your tour starts at 8:00am, when your guide and driver pick you up at the lobby of your hotel. You will first visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, as the pandas are very active in the morning. There you will see lovely furry giant pandas of all ages eating and playing with each other. You will also have a chance to see the very cute baby pandas, as well as documents and pictures showing how these little pink mouse-size animals grow into giant white and black chubby pandas of over 220 lbs (100kg).
- Kuanzhai Alley - You will then proceed to Broad and Narrow Alleys. It is really fun to stroll along the ancient street lined with many old houses and some newly-built ones with a traditional style. You will have your lunch here (own expense), and you can ask for your guide’s advice on where to eat.
- Jinsha Site Museum - After lunch, your day trip continues with a visit to the famous Jinsha Site Museum. In the museum you will see many precious ivory, gold and jade products which are thousands of years old. Follow your guide and listen carefully to the interesting stories. You can also see many everyday products made of stone, pottery, bronze and ivory, from which you will learn the daily life of people of 3,000 years ago.
From there, you will be returned to your hotel where your tour concludes.

Pandas and Giant Buddha - Charles has been great since picking us up at the train station in the evening; taking us to a recommended local restaurant, helping with the order and breifing us deeply for next day.
Panda tour was amazing, despite the heat we could see 21 Giant Pandas and 4 Red Pandas. Leshan trip to see the Giant Buddha didn't disappoint neither!
Charles has filled us with plenty of interesting info, answered all our questions, helped with our shopping, fed plenty of tips and even taught us a few useful chinese words.
Last but not least, he treated us with cookies and a small gift for our daughters before saying good bye.
Great job! Highly recommended guide!

Great time in Chengdu - Thank You, Charles! - My family had the pleasure of touring with Charles, who made our time in Chengdu an unforgettable highlight of our trip to China.
From the start, Charles was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. He went above and beyond, taking the initiative to order us extra snacks, fresh fruit, and even bags of tea just because he overheard my wife say she liked them. We were also impressed by how knowledgeable he was; he was able to answer my family’s many questions not just about the tourist sites, but also about Chengdu’s local culture and everyday life. Charles was also exceptionally organized while still remaining flexible to our interests and my children’s spontaneous requests. Whether it was finding specific shops or local foods that weren’t originally on our itinerary, he was always happy to accommodate.
My family truly had a memorable time in Chengdu, and Charles played a major part in that. He was not just a tour guide, but also a friend to us. If you're visiting Chengdu and want a tour guide who is proactive and passionate about what he does, I wholeheartedly recommend Charles.

Chengdu… pandas but not only - Pandas are magnificent but strolling around the People’s park with LuLu, listening to her explanation on Chengdu customs and traditions was magical. All this thanks to her deep knowledge and eagerness to share her love for this city.

A fantastic tour guide - I went to China along with a tour group (a bunch of random other people) at the end of June 2025 and spent 2 days in total in Chengdu - one day to get there and get back. We met Bella in Chengdu who was super helpful.
She is a kind,considerate and friendly young lady who is quite knoledgeble, capable, speaks really good Engliah and keen to help her patrons. She definitely has the right attitude for a job that can be demanding at times. Hence I have given her a 5 star review.
She has Tibetan background and will be quite a handy guide for anyone planning to travel to Tibet as well.

Bella was fantastic! - We had a wonderful holiday in Chengdu. In addition to delicious food, we were able to get up close to many gone pandas and visited an active archeological site. Bella was very kind and knowledgeable, and provided white glove service throughout. Our 8 year old son Bodhi loved Bella and hopes to keep in touch. Highly recommend.

Leshan Giant Buddha with Connie - Today we visited Leshan Giant Buddha. A unique place! It cannot be described in words! Our tour guide Connie was also great. Professional attitude, knowledge. Answered all our questions (there were many), she also put up with my daughter, who did not leave her alone all day. She was ready to help us at any moment. Kind, responsive, a great person and professional. If you are looking for not only a tour guide, but also a friend, ready to be by your side at any moment, Connie is your person!

Connie is the best in Chengdu! - We had an excellent experience with our tour guide Connie! Although the time was lesser than expected due to our travel issues, she helped us cover everything and in a fun way. She’s very friendly with children and very engaged. The best part of Connie is - she is very fluent, knowledgeable and has a great personality. We will miss her! Thanks a lot Connie!

Pandas and Buddhas Epic China Experience! - Excellent guide and trip! We loved visiting the Panda Center and Leshan Buddha with Bella. She knew many facts and the sights were incredible! The Panda center is amazing and seeing both Giant and Red pandas is a perk. Bella also gave us directions for a walking tour of Chengdu that had amazing spots and sights. Make sure you take the time to see it all! Highly recommend and we will come back.

Chengdu Travel Experience - The Guide (Bella) was very informative and proactive and me and my family learnt many things about Buddhism and the history of Chengdu. She was also a great assistant as she helped us to interact with the locals and solve any problems that we had. Overall we enjoyed our trip and I would highly recommend!
