- Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - Your tour starts at 8:00am, when your guide and driver pick you up at the lobby of your hotel. You will first visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, as the pandas are very active in the morning. There you will see lovely furry giant pandas of all ages eating and playing with each other….
- Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - Your tour starts at 8:00am, when your guide and driver pick you up at the lobby of your hotel. You will first visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, as the pandas are very active in the morning. There you will see lovely furry giant pandas of all ages eating and playing with each other. You will also have a chance to see the very cute baby pandas, as well as documents and pictures showing how these little pink mouse-size animals grow into giant white and black chubby pandas of over 220 lbs (100kg).
- Kuanzhai Alley - You will then proceed to Broad and Narrow Alleys. It is really fun to stroll along the ancient street lined with many old houses and some newly-built ones with a traditional style. You will have your lunch here (own expense), and you can ask for your guide’s advice on where to eat.
- Jinsha Site Museum - After lunch, your day trip continues with a visit to the famous Jinsha Site Museum. In the museum you will see many precious ivory, gold and jade products which are thousands of years old. Follow your guide and listen carefully to the interesting stories. You can also see many everyday products made of stone, pottery, bronze and ivory, from which you will learn the daily life of people of 3,000 years ago.
From there, you will be returned to your hotel where your tour concludes.

Pandas, Pandas, Pandas - It was one of our most wonderful vacations. It began with the planning, during which we were able to take advantage of the support of the tour operator. The tour left nothing to be desired. Our amazing tour guide Connie in Chengdu with her extensive knowledge, was able to provide us with many details we would never have known otherwise. We were never left alone and always felt safe. Many thanks again to all the staff at Travel China Guide, especially Kitty, Celine, Connie, David, and Emily Xin.

Private Chengdu tour with Ms. Claire - We are very much satisfied with Travel China Guide's services, especially our tour guide, Ms. Claire. She explained a lot about Giant Pandas and all the places we visited. Ms. Claire definitely has a very likeable personality, very friendly, lot of smiles and always do anything to be helpful.

Great experience on two private day tours in and around Chengdu - We booked the two following day tours with this company and had a great time on both!
1. Panda Research Centre, Jing Sha historical site, Wide and Narrow Alleys.
2. Mount QingCheng and Dujiangyan Irrigation System.
Libby was our tour guide on both days and she did a great job. She was very accommodating to our schedule and questions and we never felt rushed. She provided the right amount of information without overwhelming us. Her English was clear and easy to understand and paced the tour well.
We had the same driver both days as well and he was very professional. He provided us with plenty of water and easily accommodated our temperature requests.
Highly recommend and would book again!

Chengdu panda research base - Great trip to Chengdu panda base. Nicely organised one day in Chengdu with Connie.

Great visit to Chengdu - We had a very nice time and our guide Shengry was great and very patient with us. She knew the right places at the Panda research base and showed us the museum next to spending time with us at the People’s park drinking tea and taking us through the wide and narrow streets.

Great and awesome trip - I went with my daughter recently. Fantastic service from start to finish. Well taken care of by the travel consultant Emily Xin and very smooth conducted tour by their guides Shengry in Chengdu and Jin in Jiuzhaigao. They gave good guides. Transportation are very nice and spacious. Best communication as they're always answering your every queries. Will not hesitate to take them up again when I travel to other parts of China again.

Wonderful panda and museum visit - Connie was the best guide! So energetic and knowledgeable! She even got a cake for a family members birthday! 10/10 would recommend doing this tour, and make sure to ask for Connie!

Pandas, hotpot, history and culture; Chengdu has it all!! - We had a lovely time in Chengdu and made many happy memories! Leila is very knowledgeable about the local history and culture as well as the pandas. She is very friendly, extremely helpful and enthusiastic about Chengdu. Highly recommend!

Best tour guide - Leila was our tour guide for our group of 5, 3 day /2nights to Chengdu, Dujiangyan Irtigation system, Jinsha Site Museum, Panda Base and surrounding areas.
Leila was so knowledgeable about the areas visited. She was always pleasant, full of information, and energetic.
Leila can speak English perfectly. She can sing and rap too. She kept us entertained during our trip.
We were very pleased with our trip and would love to travel with Leila again.
We strongly recommend her and her company to anyone.

Had a Blast In Chendu - Our tour guide Linney took us to amazing places like seeing Pandas and taking to many photos. Also a museum of ancient artefacts found underground. Overall, if I ever plan to visit Chendu again, I would happily use her again.
