- Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi) - The tour begins at 8:00 am, with the guide and driver meeting you in your hotel lobby. The first stop is the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda, where the pandas are most lively in the morning. Visitors will enjoy watching the adorable giant pandas of various ages as they eat and play. There is also an opportunity to see the charming baby pandas, along with documents and photos illustrating how these tiny, pink, mouse-sized creatures grow into large, black and white pandas weighing over 220 lbs (100 kg).
- Kuanzhai Alley - Next, the tour continues to Broad and Narrow Alleys. It’s delightful to wander along this historic street, which features many old houses and some newly constructed ones in a traditional style. Lunch will be enjoyed here (at your own expense), and the guide can offer recommendations on dining options.
- Jinsha Site Museum - Following lunch, the tour proceeds to the renowned Jinsha Site Museum. Here, visitors will discover numerous valuable ivory, gold, and jade artifacts that are thousands of years old. The guide will share fascinating stories, and there are also many everyday items made from stone, pottery, bronze, and ivory, providing insight into the daily life of people from 3,000 years ago.
Afterward, guests will be returned to their hotel, marking the end of the tour.

Chengdu tea house and Panda vusit - What a lovely city Chengdu is! Made even better by our guide Bella! What a beautiful young lady she is, full of great information and so very passionate about her home. Our visit to the Panda research Centre was perfect as the weather was exactly what the Panda's enjoy. As a result we saw many and Bella's enthusiasm was very contagious! Wonderful experience with a wonderful guide. Can't recommend more highly.

Chengdu highlights - Just spent a wonderful 1.5 days with Bella who was a delight from the moment we met her. We had a visit to the people’s garden, an introduction to the tea house and then how to find a partner . A very fun afternoon to be followed up with a visit to the Panda Research Centre. Bella was fun and full of information, hoping to catch up again in the future for another visit. Thank you for a great time

Day trip to panda base and leshan buddha - We visited Panda base and Leshan Buddha. The guide and the driver were professional, knowledgable and very kind. They took us to local restaurant for a tasty lunch, water was available at all times in the car which was very clean. The best experience!

​An Unforgettable Chengdu Experience with the Amazing Ling! - ​We had the absolute pleasure of exploring Chengdu with Ling, and she is truly an exceptional guide! From the moment she warmly received us at the airport, she went completely above and beyond to accommodate all of our requests.
​On our very first day, she recommended a wonderful local restaurant with delicious, authentic Sichuan food that absolutely warmed our hearts. Ling took us to see the pandas at the Panda Base, guided us through the Wide and Narrow Alleys, and explored the Jinsha Site Museum and the Sichuan Opera with us.
​Her kindness, impeccable English, and vibrant energy made our entire trip an amazing experience. We are so incredibly grateful for everything she did for us. If you are visiting Chengdu, we cannot recommend a better guide. Ling is the absolute best!

Adventure in Chengdu - Liddy has been our tour guide for our adventure with the pandas and in the old streets of Chengdu. She has been very caring and helpful throughout the journey. Very flexible and attentive to the party (parents over 70). She is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend her as a tour guide.

The perfect host Joy - This trip is awesone. Our guide Joy was perfect. She welcomed us at the station, made us feel welcome and introduced the city to us. During the days we were with here she was very well prepared, gave us good insights and was able to make every day informative, to create a warm atmosphere and to give us a perfect time in Chengdu. The programme intself is very well constructed and fun to do.

Amazing Chengdu Tour - We had a wonderful experience with Carmen as our Chengdu tour guide. She was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout the day. We visited the Giant Panda Base in the morning, and in the afternoon we explored the Du Fu Thatched Cottage Museum, the Narrow and Wide Alley, and finally relaxed at People’s Park while drinking tea. Carmen shared lots of interesting information and made the entire tour enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended!

The perfect guide for Chengdu – Connie made the Panda & Jinsha experience magical for our family - We just finished the Private Chengdu Day Tour to the Giant Pandas and Jinsha Site Museum, and we cannot recommend our guide, Connie, enough.
From the moment we met her, Connie was incredibly personable, friendly, and engaging. She has a warmth that made us feel like we were exploring the city with a friend rather than a tour guide. But what really stood out was how informative she was—she offered deep insights into the pandas' behavior at the breeding base and brought the ancient Shu civilization to life at the Jinsha Museum.
Most importantly, Connie was incredibly helpful and attentive to our family’s needs. Traveling with [kids/older parents/a mixed group] can be tricky, but she managed the pace perfectly, kept everyone engaged, and handled every request with a smile. She made sure we hit the best viewing times for the pandas and found quiet spots to rest when needed.
If you are booking a private tour in Chengdu, ask for Connie. She is a gem.
