Incredible panda viewing - Fantastic opportunity to see many pandas. We were lucky with a cool day and so most of the pandas were outdoors. We arrived before opening, and the gates opened promptly at 7:30. It wasn’t as busy as I’d expected. We spent 5.5 hours wandering around, and covered a distance of 12km. There are many options for food and beverages, and clean restrooms available.

How beautiful pandas - The park is large, I personally have seen several of Pandas. And they are one more beautiful than the other. Easy entry with passport.

Excellent, a must! - We booked 2 weeks before arrival. Tickets are logged with your ID reference (passport in our case). We arrived at 7.40 and there was already a long queue. Gates opened at 8 and the queue moved very quickly. We saw many active giant pandas and red pandas and the park exceeded our expectations. Despite the large number of visitors, the park is so big that we often had moments alone with pandas in sight.

Nice place - Nice place. Pandas have nice natural enclosures. Staff are nice. My only gripe is that if you take a taxi they drop you 300m down the road because the road has been blocked off. Lining the road are a lot of people hawking panda toys and such. Some of them a very aggressive. One particular one kept putting things on my kids and following us while we tried to walk down the road.

Beautiful park, but overcrowded in August - We visited in August and, unfortunately, it was not the best experience. The queues were extremely long, and it was hard to actually see the animals. A useful tip – if you notice crowds heading in one direction, try the other side of the park. It’s less busy, and although there are fewer pandas (usually one in each area), you at least get a chance to see them without waiting for hours. The park itself is very nice, with plenty of shaded spots to rest and areas to eat. They also have unique ice creams and souvenirs, though both are a bit overpriced. Overall, the setting is beautiful, but the overcrowding made it difficult to enjoy fully.

Good place to see pandas! - The Panda Center itself was interesting and worth visiting. Definitely go in the morning if you can. There was good communication with the ticket provider and questions were answered promptly and accurately.
