• Shufengya Yun - Sichuan opera is customarily enjoyed in a tea house setting, where the audience can unwind with delicious snacks and hot tea while watching the performance. Sufengyayun Tea House is among the finest in Chengdu, situated in the Chengdu Culture Park near Qingyang Palace.

The architecture reflects the rustic style of Sichuan’s Old West Shu Country. Attendees are in for a delightful experience, as the ancient Chinese dramatic art of bian lian (face changing) is a highlight of the performance. Performers don brightly colored costumes and move to lively, dramatic music. Their faces are concealed by vividly colored masks, which change in an instant to reveal entirely new faces.

VIP ticket holders can select one of three local experiences offered by the opera house: A. ear-cleaning; B. massage; C. dressing up in a simple opera costume. Each activity lasts approximately 10 to 20 minutes and is available 20 to 30 minutes before the opera.

The show begins at 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, with each performance lasting 90 minutes.
