Tour in Xi’an
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses - Known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World,” the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum showcases an impressive level of sculpture. Located 30 km east of Xi’an City, the original site was discovered by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974. It has since become one of China’s most significant attractions and the top site in Xi’an. The museum includes Pit 1 (the largest), Pit 2, Pit 3, and the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta) - After a lunch break, visit another iconic landmark of Xi’an - the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Standing approximately 65 meters tall, the pagoda was constructed in 652 (during the Tang Dynasty) to house Buddhist scriptures brought back by Xuanzang from India. Enjoy a relaxing visit there.
Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City - Next, proceed to the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City, adjacent to the Great Wild Goose Pagoda. Walking among the many Tang Dynasty-style buildings feels like a journey through time.
